Google has something fun brewing for Pokémon fans. You can now embark on your journey to catch all the Pokémons on Google. The idea behind the new Easter egg game is simple – when you come across a Pokémon, tap the Poké Ball on the screen and capture it. When you capture a Pokémon, you can view it in your Pokédex.

Before you begin

The Pokémon Easter egg game is only available for Android and iOS users. You can play it on the Google app or its mobile website. PC users cannot play this game on their web browsers. To make sure that your progress is saved, make sure you are signed into your Google account. If you’re using Google without an account, you won’t be able to save the Pokémons that you’ve caught.

The Easter egg game includes the original 151 Pokémons found in the Kanto region. The Legendary and Mythical Pokémons like Articuno, Zapdos, Moltres, Mewtwo, and Mew can only be caught using Master Balls. These balls are unlocked when you catch 5, 20, 50, 100, and 150 Pokémons.

If you’re struggling to catch Pokémons, you can look up your Pokédex for a hint. You will be shown the silhouette of the creature, along with the name of the Pokémon it evolves from. Once you’ve caught all Pokémons, you can reset the game and begin your journey again.
