LG Electronics India today announced the launch of the “xboom by will.i.am” audio collection in India. The range comprises the XBoom Bounce and XBoom Grab with real-time AI sound and light changes for content and surroundings and AI-powered speakers. Both have an IP67 rating and are MIL-STD 810G certified for outdoor durability. The Xboom Bounce can last 30 hours on a single charge, while the Xboom Grab, built for portability, can last 20 hours. They support LE Audio Auracast to synchronise multiple speakers for group listening.

Pricing and Availability

The price of the XBoom Bounce is set at Rs 12,999 in India. The XBoom Grab will be available for Rs 9,999. Both the audio speakers come in a single black current variant. You can purchase them via the company’s official website in the country.

The Xboom speaker also has an attractive design with red accents and RGB lights, giving it a really elegant look.

The XBoom Bounce speaker has up-bouncing passive radiators that light up with the music. It has 20mm dual dome tweeters and a 93 x 53mm track-type woofer for high-frequency stereo sound and an extended listening experience. The improved clarity and depth draw the listener into a rich sonic experience. It has a total output of 40W, including a 30W woofer and two 5W tweeters. The adjustable strap enables you to secure it with one hand, hang it or set it on a tabletop. The speaker has an IP67 rating for water and dust protection and satisfies the Military Standard 810G for durability, making it suited for the different circumstances in India from monsoon humidity to seasonal dust. It also has a very good battery life of up to 30 hours.

The XBoom Grab is a portable audio device that you can use in many occasions, such as commuting, outdoor work and social events. Its powerful sound is enhanced by a 16mm dome tweeter, an 80 x 45mm woofer and two passive radiators for dynamic bass. It has an output of 30W in total, which is a 20W woofer and a 10W tweeter. It is compact enough to use with one hand and can be placed upright, sideways or in car cup holders. It also comes with multi-purpose straps that allow it to be securely attached to arms or hooks, making it convenient to carry. Xboom Grab is a durable option for harsh settings, with an IP67 rating and certified to military standard 810G. It has a fantastic battery life of up to 20 hours, making it ideal for long usage.

The XBoom Bounce and Grab speakers stand out from other Bluetooth speakers on the market thanks to their superior AI capabilities. AI Sound is a real-time analysis function that automatically tunes the audio output to improve melody, rhythm or voice quality. You can select from different genres, including Bollywood and EDM. AI calibration also helps with environmental challenges by adapting the audio to the space without the need for manual equalisation. The speaker lights sync with the music to take the user experience even further creating a truly immersive audio-visual experience. Both speaker types enable LE Audio Auracast, so you can sync audio across several devices, which is perfect for big events.
