Xolo ZX with dual-rear cameras, 6GB RAM launched: Price and specifications

After being inactive for long, Indian smartphone brand Xolo has launched its smartphone named the Xolo ZX. The newly launched device comes with up to 6GB of RAM and it comes with certain AI features such as the AI Gaming Mode, AI Portrait Mode, and AI Studio Mode.

The company has also partnered with Reliance Jio to offer certain deals to the customers of the Xolo ZX. Some highlights of the smartphone are that it comes with a notch, dual-rear camera setup and an HD+ display. Here’s what you need to know about it:

Xolo ZX price and availability

The 4GB RAM/ 64GB internal storage variant of the Xolo ZX is priced at Rs 11,499 while the 6GB RAM/ 128GB storage variant of the device has a price tag of Rs 13,999.

The Xolo ZX can be bought from Amazon India starting April 25 and it is available in two colour options – Electric Blue and Midnight Blue.

Launch offers of the Xolo ZX include a Rs 2,000 cashback which will be available in the form of 44 recharge vouchers of Rs 50 each. These vouchers can be used from the MyJio app. The users of Jio will also get 50GB of additional 4G data that consists of 5GB data per recharge for up to 10 recharges. Also, the Jio offer is applicable only if the user recharges with the Rs 198 or Rs 299 plan.

The Xolo ZX comes with a Cleartrip voucher worth Rs 2,800. The company has also partnered with Mydala.com to offer discount coupons worth Rs 5,000.

Xolo ZX specifications and features

The Xolo ZX sports a 6.22-inch HD+ IPS display that has an aspect ratio of 19:9 and comes with a 2.5D curved Gorilla Glass 3 protection. It is powered by an octa-core MediaTek Helio P22 SoC paired with 4GB RAM or 6GB RAM. The smartphone runs Android 8.1 Oreo and comes with either 64GB or 128GB of internal storage. It packs a 3,260mAh battery which, according to the company, can last for up to 1.5 days. However, it does not support fast charging. The Xolo ZX supports dual-SIM cards with 4G VoLTE support on both the SIMs.

On the camera front, the Xolo ZX comes with dual-rear camera setup which comprises of a 13MP primary camera paired with a 5MP secondary camera. Both the cameras are paired with dual-tone LED flash. While at the front, there is a 16MP Tetracell sensor with an f/2.0 aperture. The rear camera of the Xolo ZX comes with AI features such as the AI Refocus and AI Portrait Mode features to enhance the photos. It also has AI Studio Mode which offers six different modes and light effects to add a professional touch.
