OnePlus TV update brings new features as well as new content partners

The Chinese premium smartphone manufacturer OnePlus launched its first-ever Smart Television in India last year in September alongside OnePlus 7T. The company forayed into the television industry with the launch of the OnePlus TV Q1 Pro and the OnePlus TV Q1. The device comes with a number of high-end features. Now the company has started rolling out a new update for the OnePlus TV. The update brings popular content players Spotify, JioSaavn, Voot, Shemaroo, alt Balaji and MX Player. The latest OTA update also gets a host of new features and fixes. With the addition of new content partners, users will get a 3-month subscription to JioSaavn, too.

The new OnePlus TV update brings new features to OxygenPlay. New Content Integration with MX Player, Voot, ShemarooMe, Alt Balaji, Spotify, JioSaavn along with others is on the cards.

Over that, after the new update, the OnePlus TV users will be able to connect their Bluetooth headphones to the device. Now the users can play music or watch videos or movies using their Bluetooth headphones with the flatscreen.

The latest OTA update also brings the ability to connect their smartphone as a hotspot to the OnePlus TV. Yes, this smart Television lets you connect up to five devices simultaneously by means of the OnePlus Connect app.

The OnePlus TV software update delivers streamlines PQ mode options, added colour gamut conversion and turns off MEMC in Dolby mode. After the update, the TV will now support both embedded and external subtitles while playing local videos. Now the users can make use of the Prime Video button on the remote to power on/ off the TV.

The OnePlus TV also supports Netflix, Hungama, Eros, and Zee5 along with Amazon Prime Video, Hotstar, SonyLiv and YouTube. To experience the new OnePlus TV you can visit the OnePlus Experience Stores in Bengaluru, Mumbai, Delhi, Chennai, and Pune. Television is available for purchase via Amazon.in and across 100+ offline outlets of Reliance Digital across the top 12 cities in India.
