What makes Redmi K50i stand out is the flagship processor that drives it. The MediaTek Dimensity 8100 processor is built using the TSMC N5 and comes with four ARM Cortex A78 super cores, and four ARM Cortex A55 efficiency cores. The Redmi K50i 5G balances the power-packed performance with efficient power management. The MediaTek processor paired with LPDDR5 RAM and UFS 3.1 storage delivers a speedy performance while taking care of the user’s multitasking needs. The smartphone comes with Liquid 2.0 and a 7-layer graphite sheet for efficient cooling during heavy tasks, making it an attractive buy for gamers and streamers.

The Redmi K50i comes with a 6.6-inch full HD+ liquid FFS (Field Fringe Switching) Display. It is also the first Redmi smartphone to support Dolby Vision. An adaptive refresh rate of 144Hz ensures a seamless experience for the consumer. In order to optimise the battery life, K50i’s display can switch the refresh rate depending on the content being shown on it. On top of that, the K50i also provides better colour reproduction and wider viewing angles.

Audiophiles may also want to look into Redmi’s latest offering, as the K50i comes with Dolby Atmos support as well as Hi-Res wired and wireless audio. The phone comes with dual stereo speakers and a 3.5mm audio jack. With an output capacity of 500mv at 32ohms, the 3.5mm audio jack can also support powerful headphones.

When it comes to camera specs, the Redmi K50i 5G features a triple camera arrangement at the rear, with a flagship 64-megapixel sensor backed by an 8MP and 2MP ultrawide lens. This camera unit can work under extreme conditions to produce high-quality images. The 16MP front camera is on par for the mid-premium segment.
