Microsoft will be hosting a press event on October 2 where it is expected to reveal its surface branded devices. The event will be held in New York. The company has been working on a Dual screen Surface device codenamed Centaurus. They have been engaged for over two years now on it, which will be unveiled during the event. The leaks and rumours suggest that Microsoft will also come with Surface Laptop 3, Surface Pro 7 and Surface Book 3 on October 2.
As the press event is coming closer more and more rumours and reports are pouring in. As per a report by WinFuture, the company might come with a wide range of performance and storage options. The publication shared five stock-keeping units of Surface Pro 7 that are mentioned below:
- Microsoft Surface Pro 7, Intel Core i3, 4GB RAM, 128GB SSD
- Microsoft Surface Pro 7, Intel Core i5, 8GB RAM, 128GB SSD
- Microsoft Surface Pro 7, Intel Core i5, 8GB RAM, 256GB SSD
- Microsoft Surface Pro 7, Intel Core i7, 16 GB RAM, 256 GB SSD
- Microsoft Surface Pro 7, Intel Core i7, 16 GB RAM, 512 GB SSD
The aforementioned configurations for the Surface Pro 7 will be launched for the European market. The base variant of the Surface Pro 7 will be powered by the Intel Core i3 processor along with 4GB of RAM and a 128GB of SSD. The next one, which is the Microsoft Surface Pro 7 with Intel Core i5 CPU will come with 8GB of RAM along with 128 GB of SSD. Microsoft Surface Pro 7 paired with Intel Core i5 will be available with 8GB of RAM and 256GB of SSD. If you want the device with a larger memory then you can choose the variants with Intel Core i7 CPU that offers 16GB of RAM along with 256GB and 512GB of SSD option.
Apart from that, at Microsoft October 2 event, the company is also speculated to bring Surface earbuds that are codenamed Morrison along with two Surface-branded headphones. Additionally, the Surface Pro 7 could come with a redesigned keyboard while the Surface Book 3 might feature Nvidia GeForce RTX GPU with Turing architecture.
