Guide on how to enable hidden game mode in Android 12 beta

Searching for the hidden game mode in Android 12 beta? Do you want to enable the hidden game mode? Here is the guide to enable it.

The Android 12 beta version has been recently rolled out by Google. It has many features available such as privacy and “hidden game mode” in the beta version. The all-new Android 12 will be available as an OTA update around September or October this year. Here is a handy guide to enable the hidden game mode when using Android 12 beta. 

Go to the setting menu on your mobile This is the first thing you need to do before enabling the hidden game feature in Android 12 beta. Downloaded it and install it for those who have not, you need to install it. After successfully installing it go to the settings menu on your Android device to enjoy the features newly rolled out by Google

  • Navigate to the Digital Wellbeing option 

The next step to enable the hidden game mode is to navigate to the Digital wellbeing sub-menu. You can manually go to the option or you can use the search bar to search for it. The sub-menu is highlighted as Digital wellbeing and parental controls. So scroll down to Digital Wellbeing and follow the next step

  • Select the Do not disturb 

The next thing to do is tap on the Do not disturb menu. It is located in the reduce interruption sub- categorisation when you open the Digital Wellbeing menu. It is easily visible. Now you will find a list of options for apps and people that you can enable Do not disturb for. Next, scroll down to schedule

  • Click on Schedule 

Click on Schedule After clicking on Schedule you see some options. Select the game mode checkbox.  Now the game mode will be running when you turn on the Do not disturb.

  • Enable the Checkbox of the game mode 

Next, when you open the Schedule menu. You have to make sure you click on the game mode Checkbox. This will enable a floating menu with a Game mode option available.

When you are done with clicking the game mode checkbox. The next step is to click on the setting icon which is on the right of the screen. Now you can see six lists on the screen. Tap on it.

  • Screen recording 
  • Frames per second (FPS) counter 
  • Do Not Disturb 
  • Game optimisation: For an individual game 
  • Youtube play: For streaming your gameplay

This is how to enable your hidden game mode in Android 12 beta. After selecting all the settings you will be accessing a floating menu on the side of the screen for all shortcuts. You can tap and drag anywhere on the screen.
