Share your phone number carefully

Admit it, we all make the mistake of sharing our personal contact number every time we go to a shopping mall. You must have received many calls during the season sales and festive sales from the malls, and you can stop that by not providing your phone number.

It is not necessary at all to share your contact number at the time of billing unless you want to be spammed by even more malls and call centers than you are already being. You can always deny giving your contact number, if the cashier still asks for it you can just give him a random contact number.

Register your phone number in NDNC

Adding your phone number in the NDNC (National Do Not Call) registry will separate out any spam call that was under the regulations. To do this you just need to send “START 0” to 1909 from your phone number. NDNC is created by TRAI (Telecom Regulatory Authority of India). The sole purpose for the creation of NDNC is to prevent unwanted Marketing SMS and calls from Telemarketers.Block spam calls on Android

Get the latest series of the mobile number

When getting a new number for yourself don’t just go for an easy and fancy number, because chances are that if the number was used before you got that, then that person might have subscribed to some services. So if you will opt for that phone number then you will get those annoying spam calls on your new fancy phone number. So it is advised that you should always search for the latest series available for your operator in your region and choose a new number.
