Call recording is another important and much-needed one that was until now available to all the Premium users but now has been expanded to all users. One can now easily record all incoming and outgoing calls regardless of whether your device manufacturer includes the feature or not. All recordings are stored locally on the device storage and cannot be accessed by Truecaller.

One can listen to or delete recordings within Truecaller or by using a file browser. Recordings can also be shared easily using email, Bluetooth or any messaging service. This is an optional feature and the users can start recording with a single tap in either Full-Screen or Pop Up Caller ID after the initial setup process.

Next is the Ghost call. Another useful feature will help in getting you out of a challenging situation or playing a harmless prank on friends. You can use Ghost call to set any name, phone number and photo to make it appear as if you are receiving a call from that person. You can also select a contact from your phonebook if you prefer. Also, you can schedule the Ghost call if you want to receive it at a later time. However, this feature is only accessible to Truecaller Premium and Gold subscribers.

Last but not least, Truecaller will speak the caller’s ID for incoming phone calls if you enable the Call Announce feature on the app. This only applies to saved contacts as well as Truecaller identified numbers on both normal voice calls and HD voice calls. So you don’t need to even look at your phone’s screen to know who is calling. One can also enable it while wearing headphones. This feature is available to Premium and Gold subscribers.
