Here’s how you can change your username on Discord
Step 1: Launch the Discord app and tap on your profile icon at the bottom right corner of the screen.
Step 2: Select ‘Account’.
Step 3: Tap on ‘Username’.
Step 4: Enter your desired username. Discord Nitro subscribers can also change the tag next to their Discord username.
Step 5: Hit ‘Save’ once you’re done.
Your Discord username will be changed.
Here’s how you can change your nickname on Discord
Step 1: Launch the Discord app and select the server in which you want the desired nickname.
Step 2: Tap on ellipses (three dots) on the server banner.
Step 3: Scroll down and select ‘Edit Server Profile’.
Step 4: Enter a nickname and hit ‘Save’.
Your Discord nickname for the server will be changed.
This is how you can change your username and nickname on Discord. Regular Discord users can only change their username on the app, but Nitro subscribers get to change their user tag as well.
