In order to make a public profile on Snapchat, the following criteria must be met

  • Your account must be more than 24 hours old.
  • You must be over 18 years of age.
  • You must have at least one bi-directional friend (you must be friends with each other).
  • You must agree to community guidelines.

Here’s how you can make a public profile on Snapchat

Step 1: Launch the Snapchat app on your smartphone and tap on your profile icon at the top left corner of the screen.

Once you create a public profile on Snapchat, you should add more details to it to attract viewers and subscribers. Here’s how you can do so.

Step 1: Tap on the profile icon at the top right corner of the screen and select ‘My Public Profile’.

Step 2: Tap on ‘Edit profile’ to add a profile picture, bio, and location. You can also choose to make your subscriber count public.
