London-based tech company Nothing has confirmed to make Android 14 Beta 1 available for its users soon. Nothing Phone 1 is the company’s first and right now the only smartphone available in the market and will become the second device after the Pixel phone to receive the first beta version of Android 14.
Carl Pei-owned tech firm Nothing has officially confirmed to us that it will be one first Google Android partners to provide access to the first beta version of Android 14. This means the company might make a stable Nothing OS version available later this year with some minor changes as Nothing OS provides an almost stock Android experience to the users. According to the company, its product team will have early access to the brand-new Android 14 Beta 1 upgrade to make sure seamless integration to Nothing OS for a smooth user experience.
The company stated, “We’re proud to announce that Nothing will be one of the first Google Android partners to offer Beta access to Android 14. Nothing’s product team will have early access to the new Android 14 Beta 1 upgrade to ensure seamless integration to Nothing OS for a smooth user experience.”
The rollout of the Android 14 Beta 1 for the Nothing Phone 1 is presently unknown. However, the company is likely to provide more information about the update soon.
Android 12 is said to include new features such as revamped back arrow when using gesture navigation. In addition to this, there will be location-based loyalty card suggestions along with improved PIN animations. It is also expected that Dynamic Colour and Material You will undergo various modifications in Google’s Android 14 Developer Preview and Beta.

Google has been an early supporter in Nothing and both teams are dedicated to working closely in implementing feedback to deliver the best user experience.”
