Asus Zephyrus G14 laptop with the latest AMD Ryzen 9 4900HS processor launched in India

The company has also upgraded Zenbook 14 and other devices from the VivoBook series

Taiwanese technology company Asus, expanding its gaming laptop range, announced the launch of the Zephrus G14 laptop in India.  The laptop presented by ASUS Republic of Gamers (ROG) is powered by the latest AMD Ryzen 9 4900HS processor with up to 8 cores and 16 threads. In addition to this, the laptop comes with a customized cooling system with up to an RTX 2060 MaxQ GPU from NVIDIA. Moreover, there is a UHD resolution Pantone validated 100% sRGB colour-accurate display. 

The company has also upgraded the Vivobook portfolio powered by the latest AMD Ryzen 7 4700U processors. The range includes ZenBook 14, VivoBook S S14, VivoBook Ultra K15, VivoBook Ultra 14/15, VivoBook Flip 14 and Zephyrus G15

Zephrus G14 is a slimmer light in weight that can be easily carried in a bag. It comes with a Magnesium-Alloy keyboard frame that is fingerprint-resistant having a dot matrix design. The buyers get the option to choose AniMe Matrix technology that is available on select models. The monochrome palette and pixelated pattern give it a retro feel. It is powered by an AMD Ryzen 9 4900HS processor paired with the latest GeForce RTX 2060 Max-Q augmented by ROG’s boost up to 1298 MHz at 65W.

According to the company, the Zephyrus G14 is the first ROG laptop to feature an Ergo-Lift hinge that lifts the keyboard at a more comfortable angle for better typing experience. There is a 14-inch thin-bezel display with dual display output. It offers 100% of the sRGB range and 85% screen-to-body ratio. For Audio the laptop supports Dolby Atmos and Intel Wi-Fi 6 and Bluetooth 5.0, USB 3.2 Type-C port, two USB 3.2 Type-A ports and an HDMI port for connectivity. There is a 4-cell 76WHr battery with a 65W adapter and 180W AC adapter.

The Zephyrus G14 laptops come in two models: AniMe Matrix and non- AniMe Matrix. The price starts at Rs 98,990 and Rs 80,990 respectively. It comes in two colour options Eclipse Gray and Moonlight White. The device has now gone live on the e-commerce website Amazon and other retailers starting today.

While on the other hand, Zephyrus G15 will be available via Flipkart at Rs 104,990. While ZenBook 14, Vivobook S S14, Vivobook Ultra 14/15 and Vivobook Flip 14 can be purchased via Amazon, Flipkart and other retail stores in India at Rs 69,990, Rs 59,990, Rs 47,990 and Rs 49,990 respectively. While Vivobook Ultra K15 will be available only via retail stores in India at Rs 54,990.
