Garmin Instinct 2 smartwatch series specifications

Garmin Instinct 2 smartwatch series is intended for rugged individualists. The smartwatch has a thinner profile and is available in two sizes: a regular 45mm bezel and a new Instinct 2S with a smaller 40mm bezel, which is more comfortable for persons with tiny wrists. The top technology-driven Instinct 2 Series includes features such as solar technology with unlimited battery life (in certain models), as well as a full suite of health and wellness features such as VO2 Max and Sleep Score.

The new series also includes multi-GNSS support, ABC sensors, a barometer for weather monitoring, and trackback routing to return to the starting point.

Instinct 2 is still built to military standard 810 for thermal and shock resistance, as well as being water-rated to 100 metres. It also has a new high-resolution, easy-to-read display that is protected by chemically reinforced material and scratch-resistant glass.

In addition to this these smart wearables may also be customised further with free downloads of apps, widgets, watch faces, data fields, and other features through the Garmin Connect IQ (CIQ) store.

The wristwatch comes equipped with sports programmes and activities to aid users such as VO2 Max, Fitness Age, Training Status/Load/Effect, Recovery Time, HIIT, and Daily Suggested Workout. It also features a multisport activity function, which allows users to switch between sports while still seeing their overall time and distance. Users’ relatives and friends may track their loved ones’ activities via text messaging and be warned in the case of an emergency thanks to Instinct 2’s Incident Detection function.

The Instinct 2 Solar – Tactical Edition, popular among military personnel, offers tactical features such as a Kill Switch, Stealth Mode, Night Vision Goggle Compatibility, Dual Format Position Coordinates, and Jumpmaster Activity mode, and is available in black or coyote tan. The Camo Edition’s Graphite patterns allow folks to blend in or stand out depending on their environment, whether it’s the concrete jungle or the genuine jungle.
