Google’s cloud gaming system Stadia is the platform with which it decided to enter the gaming industry. Google Stadia was launched in the earlier months by the company, however, the technology giant did not reveal some key information about it. Following this in May, Google had revealed that it would be announcing the launch dates and some other key information about the Stadia soon, however, it didn’t reveal the exact dated when it will be making these announcements. But now, the California-based technology firm has finally revealed the date when it will be announcing the details about Google Stadia. Today, Stadia, through its official Twitter page revealed that it would be hosting its first-ever “Stadia Connect” event on Thursday, June 6 from 9am PDT onwards (9:30pm IST). The event will be held by Stadia where it will announce more details, the pricing and other information about the platform.
Earlier it was thought that more details about Stadia will be revealed by the company at the upcoming E3 2019, but the Stadia Connect event is being held days before the E3 2019. Google Stadia was announced by the company at the GDC 2019 but it didn’t reveal much details about the device. During the last week of May 2019, the company through a tweet hinted that it will be revealing more details about the Stadia in the Summer – most probably at E3 2019, but the event is being held days before E3 and this will give Google a lead over other platforms.
In the tweet, Stadia wrote that it will be revealing the three biggest things about the platform in Summer of 2019 – price of Stadia, game announcements and launch information. Google has also provided a link which will show the live stream of the event.
The California-based technology firm has said that Stadia will support desktops, laptops, TVs, tablets and phones as well so that the players/ gamers will be able to play their choice of games on any device. Google also said that the players won’t have to worry about game updates or downloads and they can play games in up to 4K HDR graphics with frame rates up to 60fps. The company had said that it will be announcing exclusive games for the Stadia and several new features which other platforms and consoles don’t offer.
Some news can't wait for #E3.
