Honor Pad 5 goes on sale on Flipkart: Price and offers

Last month, Chinese technology brand Honor launched two variants of its new Android tablet in India. Dubbed Honor Pad 5, the tablet is available in 8-inch and a 10.1-inch display options. The key highlights of both the variants of the tablet are that they come with a full-HD screen and dual stereo speakers. Honor Pad 5 comes with a number of dedicated features that make them children-friendly.

In addition to being available in different screen sizes, the Honor Pad 5 is available in two storage variants – 32GB and 64GB inbuilt storage along with 3GB and 4GB of RAM. The tablets house a 5100mAh battery and are powered by HiSilicon Kirin processors. Today, both the variants of Honor Pad 5 tablets have gone on sale on Flipkart. Here’s a look at the price, launch offers, and specifications:

Honor Pad 5 (8-inch), Honor Pad 5 (10.1-inch) prices and offers

The 8-inch variant of Honor Pad 5 is available in two storage models – one with 3GB RAM and 32GB storage and the other with 4GB RAM and 64GB storage. While the former is priced at Rs 15,999, the other costs Rs 17,999 and can now be purchased at a discounted price on Flipkart.

The 10.1-inch variant of the tablet is also available in 3GB RAM and 4GB RAM variants. Though the base model of the 10.1-inch variant costs Rs 16,999, the high-end variant is priced at Rs 18,999. Both the variants of the Honor Pad 5 are available in Glacial Blue colour with additional offers on Flipkart.

The Honor Pad 5 tablets are being offered with no-cost EMI plans for 3 to 6 months with an additional discount of Rs. 500 over regular exchange value by Flipkart. Apart from this, people who make payments via Axis Bank Buzz credit card can avail a 10% discount. All prepaid transactions can avail an extra Rs 500 discount on the purchase of any Honor Pad 5 variants.

Honor Pad 5 (8-inch) specifications

The Honor Pad 5 (8-inch) runs Magic UI 2.0 based on Android 9.0 Pie and comes with an 8-inch full-HD (1920×1200 pixels) display. The device is powered by HiSilicon Kirin 710 SoC that comes up with 4GB of RAM and 64GB of internal storage. You can also add a microSD card of up to 512GB in the tablet.

For imaging duties, The Honor Pad 5’s 8-inch variant sports an 8MP camera on the front as well as on the back. The device also features a dual stereo speaker with Dolby Atmos Surround Sound support.

Honor Pad 5 (10.1-inch) specifications

The 10.1-inch model of the Honor Pad 5 runs EMUI 8.0 skinned with Android Oreo. The tablet features a 10.1-inch full-HD (1920×1200 pixels) display and is powered by Kirin 659 SoC paired with 4GB of RAM.

The tablet sports an 8MP auto-focus primary camera and a 2MP fixed-focus selfie camera. The device offers 64GB of internal storage and can hold a microSD card of up to 256GB. The device also features dual stereo speakers tuned by Harman Kardon and sports a fingerprint sensor.
