The American multinational information technology company, HP, has expanded its Chromebook laptop series with the addition of the new Chromebook 11a in India. With the launch of this laptop, the company aims to cater personalized, interactive, cloud-based learning experience for students. The HP Chromebook 11a has been introduced at the same time when the Government has recently announced a lockdown in some regions of the country due to a surge in Coronavirus cases.
Seeing the online classes trend and for the student’s comfort, the new HP Chromebook features a slim form factor with a long battery life that offers easy mobility to learn and play from anywhere. Powered by MediaTek MT8183 Octa-core Processor the device further includes voice-enabled Google Assistant support and free Google One subscription for one year.
HP Chromebook 11a price and availability
HP Chromebook 11ahas been launched in India at an affordable price of Rs 21,999. This laptop is now available exclusively via the e-commerce website Flipkart. The device is being offered in a single Indigo Blue colour option.
HP Chromebook 11a tech specs
Starting with the design first, the HP Chromebook 11a comes in a single Indigo Blue colour option having a matte finish and a colour-coordinated keyboard deck to match the device’s lid cover. The laptop is designed for students and is slim, compact as well as less bulky, it weighs just 1.05kgs. The 11a features an 11.6-inch HD touch display with 1,366×768 pixels of resolution. The HD anti-glare display offers 220 nits of peak brightness, 45 percent colour gamut, and 73.8 percent screen-to-body ratio.
Under the chassis, there is a MediaTek MT8183 Octa-core processor up to 64GB of storage and 100 GB of cloud storage, also with 256GB expandable storage. It has dual speakers and an HD camera which is a must for attending online classes. For connectivity, there is USB Type-A and Type-C, along with an audio jack and a Micro SD slot. In addition to this, there is Bluetooth v5 and Wi-Fi 5 for wireless connectivity.
Over that, the HP Chromebook 11a offers Chrome OS and Android apps included in Google Play Store. Like we said earlier the company will be offering Google One subscription with 110GB of storage for one year. For a hands-free experience, the laptop also includes Google Voice Assistant support.
