China’s Transsion Holdings-owned brand Infinix has announced the launch of its latest 5G smartphone in the Indian market. The company has introduced Infinix Zero Ultra 5G featuring a triple rear camera arrangement, with a 200-megapixel primary sensor and a 60-megapixel selfie camera. In addition to this, the handset is powered by MediaTek Dimensity 920 SoC. The device comes with a 4,500mAh battery that also boasts 180W Thunder Charge capability.

The single 8GB RAM with 256GB storage option of the Infinix Zero Ultra 5G costs Rs 29,999. The smartphone is available in Coslight Silver and Genesis Noir colour variants.

In terms of availability, the device will be sold across the nation starting on December 25 through Flipkart. Customers who use their Flipkart Axis Bank cards to purchase the Infinix Zero Ultra 5G during the sale will receive a 5% cashback. Options for cost-free EMIs begin at Rs 2,500. Customers can also take advantage of exchange promotions to reduce the cost of the smartphone. Before coming to the nation, the smartphone was first introduced in other places.

Infinix Zero Ultra features a 6.8-inch full-HD+ curved 3D AMOLED display. The screen has a 120Hz refresh rate and is capable of delivering up to 1000 nits of peak brightness. The display has a touch sampling rate of 360Hz. It is powered by Android 12 and runs the XOS 12 operating system. Under the hood, there is an octa-core 6nm MediaTek Dimensity 920 SoC with 8GB RAM. The phone also utilises unused storage virtually increasing the available RAM to 13GB. The 256GB of internal storage on the handset supports memory extension of up to 2TB via a microSD card slot.

The phone has a 4,500mAh battery and supports 180W fast charging with Thunder Charge. The smartphone has 5G, a USB Type-C port, Bluetooth v5, and Wi-Fi 6 connectivity options. It has a proximity sensor, light sensor, g-sensor, and e-compass. Additionally, a fingerprint sensor is integrated into the display for authentication.

The Infinix Zero Ultra has a triple camera system that includes a 200-megapixel primary sensor with optical image stabilisation (OIS). The camera system further includes a 13-megapixel ultra-wide sensor, and a 2-megapixel tertiary lens. For selfies and video calls, there is a 32-megapixel camera on the front.
