The electronics major LG has announced the launch of its new 4K monitor in India. The company has introduced LG 32UN880-B UltraFine Display Ergo 4K monitor which allows the user to customise according to their need by adjusting the pivot, swivel, extend/retract, height and tilt for improved posture and productivity. As per the company, the LG monitor comes with an innovative Ergonomic Stand with a C-Clamp that allows full movement of display for a comfortable, more flexible desktop setup.
Commenting on the launch, Hak Hyun Kim, Director- Home Entertainment, LG Electronics said, “Despite the widespread economic disruption caused by the coronavirus pandemic, the lockdown has significantly increased the amount of time people spend at their desk which has created massive health issues and affected the productivity of employees. We at LG are extremely delighted to announce our new and innovative launch of monitors specially designed to help users experience maximum productivity and efficiency during times like these. We are certain that Ergo will prove to be a welcome innovation for anyone who spends a significant time at their desk through its technologically and ergonomically advanced design and start-of-the-art features that helps to promote good posture through its high degree of adjustability and ton range of movement, enabling each user to create a perfectly customized workstation”
The price of the LG 32UN880-B UltraFine Display Ergo 4K monitor in India has been set at Rs 59,999. It will be available in a single Black colour option and can be purchased via Amazon. The customers can get up to 10 percent discount using SBI credit cards and credit EMIs, no-cost EMIs on select cards. Additionally, there will be 25 percent cashback on the Amazon Pay Later option.
In terms of specification LG 32UN880-B UltraFine Display Ergo 4K monitor comes with a 31.5-inch display with a resolution of 3,840×2,160 pixels. It offers a refresh rate of 60Hz and a contrast ratio of 1,000:1 with a 16:9 aspect ratio. There is HDR10 support too with 95 percent of DCI-P3 colour space, 50 nits of peak brightness and 178-degree viewing angles. It comes with an anti-glare panel, 5ms Grey-to-Grey (GTG) response time as well as with AMD FreeSync.
The Ergo Stand can Tilt/Height/Swivel/Pivot/ Extend/Retract. It can tilt between -25-25°, Swivel (Angle) between -280-280° and the height can be adjusted to 130mm with Extend/Retract to 180mm.
There are other features such as game mode, Dual Controller, Smart Energy Saving and Dynamic Action Sync. On the connectivity front, there are HDMI ports, a DisplayPort, two USB downstream ports, a headphone jack, a USB-C (DP Alternate Mode), USB-C (Data Transmission) and a USB Type-C port for power delivery at 60W.
