LG K42, LG K52 shows up on the BIS website, suggesting imminent launch in India

Both the devices comes look identical to each other

LG recently introduced its two smartphones LG K42 and LG K52  in Central America and in Europe respectively. Now both the devices are expected to soon launch in India as both of them have been reportedly spotted Indian BIS certification website. So soon the company will confirm the launch of its upcoming devices which are powered by MediaTek processors.

According to tipster Mukul Sharma, LG K42 and LG K52 have been spotted on the Indian BIS website with model number  LM-K420YMW and LM-K520YMW. As both the devices have now bagged the BIS certification the company might have started prepping up for its upcoming. To recall LG K42 was launched in Central America and the Caribbean region while LG K52 is already available in Europe.

LG K42 has a 6.6-inch HD+ display with a hole punch. The device runs LG UX OS on top of Android 10 OS. Under the hood, there is a MediaTek Helio P22 SoC paired with 3GB of RAM with 64GB storage option. The storage can be expanded up to 256GB using a microSD card.

In terms of photos and videos, there is a  quad-camera set up on the back of the phone that includes a 13-megapixel primary sensor. Moreover, there is a  5-megapixel super-wide sensor, a 2-megapixel depth and a macro sensor. While on the front there is an 8-megapixel selfie camera.

Apart from this, the phone includes a 3.5mm audio jack, Bluetooth v5.0, and USB Type-C port as connectivity options and a 4,000mAh battery.

LG K52 specifications

LG K52 features a 6.6-inch HD+ FullVision display and runs Android 10 OS skinned with LG UX. The smartphone is powered by an octa-core MediaTek MT6765 Helio P35 SoC. The device is available with 4GB of RAM and 64GB of storage that can be expanded up to 2TB using a microSD card. 

The smartphone sports a quad rear camera setup that includes 48-megapixel primary sensor. In addition to this, there is a 5-megapixel ultra-wide-angle secondary lens, a 2-megapixel depth sensor for portraits and a 2-megapixel macro shooter. Upfront there is a 13-megapixel selfie camera.

This mobile phone also houses a 4,000mAh battery. In terms of connectivity, there is 4G LTE, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth v5.0, GPS/ A-GPS, NFC, and a USB Type-C port. Apart from this, the company has given a fingerprint sensor on the right of the phone.
