And today another South Korean brand LG is going to launch a dual-display phone LG Wing in India. This the company’s first innovative smartphone that is part of its Explorer Project. Before arriving in the Indian market, the smartphone was unveiled first in its home market and it is this year’s most innovative, conventional, modern device that is all set to hit the Indian shore today. How to watch the Livestream of the LG Wing launch event
LG Wing is set to launch in India today via an online launch event that will be live-streamed from 11.30 AM till 12.30 PM. The virtual launch event will be webcasted across all its social media channels. You watch the event live here.
LG Wing Price in India Expected
The company has not yet shared the pricing of LG Wing but the device is likely to be priced similar to the South Korean market. There it is available at KRW 1,098,900 that translates to Rs 71,400. It comes in two colour options Aurora Gray and Illusion Sky.
LG Wing Specifications
Speaking of the specifications, LG Wing features a dual-display. The primary display is a swivel screen that rotates clockwise in 90 degrees to reveal the secondary screen. The main screen has a 6.8-inch full-HD P-OLED FullVision panel with 1,080×2,460 pixels of resolution, 20.5:9 aspect ratio and 395ppi of pixel density. The secondary screen comes with a 3.9-inch full-HD+ G-OLED panel with 1,080×1,240 pixels and has a 1.15:1 aspect ratio and a pixel density of 419ppi. It runs Q OS on top of Android 10 and is powered by an octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 765G SoC with up to 12GB of RAM and 256GB of internal storage that can be expanded up to 2TB via microSD card.
The LG Wing has a triple rear camera setup that includes a 64-megapixel primary sensor with an f/1.8 aperture, a secondary 13-megapixel ultra-wide-angle lens with f/1.9 aperture and 12-megapixel ultra-wide-angle sensor with f/2.2 aperture in addition to a Hexa-motion stabiliser. While on the front it has a 32-megapixel pop-up selfie camera.
The device is backed by a 4,000mAh battery supported by Quick Charge 4.0+ 25W fast charging and 10W wireless charging. Moreover, the LG Wing is IP54 rated for dust and water resistance and also features an in-display fingerprint sensor.
