Motorola Razr 5G has been launched as the latest foldable phone in India last week. This is the upgraded variant of the Motorola Razr which was introduced earlier this year by the Lenovo-owned company. Today the smartphone will be up for sale in the country for the first time via Flipkart. The device is made up of metal and glass body and has a 3D formed glass and 7000 series aluminium.
The newly launched foldable phone is powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 765G SoC for 5G support. It retains the 6.2-inch flexible OLED display with a Quick view display as and outer or secondary display.

Motorola Razr 5G price in India has been set up at Rs 1,24,999 for the single 8GB RAM with 256GB storage. Today the smartphone will go on its first sale in India via Flipkart and other leading retail stores and will be available in a single Polished Graphite.
As for the launch offer the next-generation foldable phone will be offered with an instant discount of Rs 10,000 on the HDFC Bank cards EMI transactions. In addition to this the Jio customers will be offered double data benefits with its Rs. 4,999 annual plans along with an extra one-year of unlimited services from Jio at no additional cost.
Motorola Razr 5G specifications
Motorola Razr 5G has a 6.2-inch pOLED primary display with a resolution of 2142×876 pixels and a 21:9 aspect ratio. While the front or the secondary display which is also known as a quick view display has a 2.7-inch gOLED with 800×600 pixels of resolution with a 4:3 aspect ratio.
Motorola Razr 5G runs Android 10 with My UX along with 2 guaranteed major OS upgrades and Bi-monthly security updates for 2 years. It is powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 765G SoC paired with 8GB of RAM and 256GB of storage.
In terms of cameras, the phone has a 48-megapixel main camera on the outer display with f/1.7 aperture, OIS, laser autofocus with a side-mounted LED flash. The main camera also doubles up as a selfie camera which also includes multiple camera modes such as Group Selfie, Portrait Mode, and Spot Colour. While the selfie camera includes a 20-megapixel sensor with f/2.2 aperture.
The Motorola Razr 5G comes with a larger 2,800mAh battery bundled with a 15W charger that comes inside the box. The fingerprint sensor has now been replaced from the front to the rear positioned inside the Moto Batwing logo. It has a matte finish glass back with Gorilla Glass protection. Addressing the durability concerns the second-gen Razr comes with redesigned hinges which now ensures the teardrop display can fold flush with zero gaps. While the external screen gets more access to apps such as camera, messages, calculator, Google Keep, Google News, Google Home, and YouTube along with support for gesture navigation. As per the company the foldable phone can survive up to 200,000 flips along with the water-repellent coating.
