HMD Global today announced the launch of its new G-Series smartphone Nokia G21 in the Indian market. The key feature of the handset includes a 90Hz display. It is powered by an octa-core Unisoc T606 SoC and houses a 5,050mAh battery that promises three days of battery life and twice as many security updates as the rival companies.

Nokia G21 price in India, sale details
Nokia G21 has been launched in India in two different variants. The 4GB RAM with 64GB storage variant is priced at Rs 12,999. There is a 6GB RAM with 128GB storage model which is going to sell at Rs 14,999. At this pricing, the smartphone is going to take on devices like Redmi Note 11, Moto G52 and more. The newly launched phone will be available in two colour options of Dusk and Nordic Blue. The smartphone will be available for purchase through the company’s official website, select retail stores and on major e-commerce sites.
Nokia G21 specifications
The Nokia G21 comes with a 6.5-inch HD+ display with 720×1,600 pixels of resolution. The screen offers a refresh rate of 90Hz with 20:9 aspect ratio, a touch sampling rate of 180Hz and a peak brightness of 400 nits. Under the hood, there is a Unisoc T606 octa-core processor with up to 6GB of RAM and comes with up to 128GB of internal storage that can be expanded using a microSD card with up to 512GB. The phone runs on Android 11 and will get two years of Android OS upgrades.
The Nokia G21 is equipped with a triple rear camera system that includes a 50-megapixel primary sensor with an f/1.8 lens, a 2-megapixel macro sensor, and a 2-megapixel depth sensor. It has an 8-megapixel selfie camera sensor on the front for selfies and video chats.
The phone has a 5,050mAh battery that supports 18W fast charging but is shipped with a 10W charger.
The Nokia G21 has 4G LTE, Wi-Fi 802.11ac, Bluetooth v5.0, FM radio, GPS/ A-GPS, USB Type-C, and a 3.5mm headphone jack for connectivity. A fingerprint sensor on the side, an accelerometer, ambient light, and a proximity sensor are among the sensors on board.
