After launching the much-anticipated OnePlus Nord device, the smartphone maker has now started pushing the incremental roll-out of OxygenOS 10.5.5 for the Nord smartphones in India and Global. The aim behind this update is to improvise some system issues, enhance battery performance, and provide better camera usage.
According to OnePlus Forum, this introduction of OxygenOS 10.5.5 will provide the Nord users access improved volume adjustment interface. Besides this, the update will also fix the system reboot issue when free-form is enabled. Apart from this, it will also fix the issue of OnePlus Notes always running in the background. Mind you! At the time of launch, OnePlus Nord came pre-installed with OxygenOS 10.5.
On the camera front, the OxygenOS 10.5.5 update has improved the image clarity of the front camera in low light along with enhanced image clarity of the macro camera. As far as power is concerned, the update has also improved general power consumption along with improved charging experience. Interestingly, OnePlus Nord smartphone comprises of four rear cameras and two front cameras. The Nord comes with the same 48 MP primary sensor as the OnePlus 8, complete with optical image stabilization (OIS) technology to eliminate blur and shakiness from every photo. OnePlus Nord also comes with features that can remove unwanted noise and sharpen things up in tricky shooting scenarios, like harsh sunlight.
Moreover, OnePlus Nord comes with 32MP Sony IMX616 and another 8MP camera that offers a 105-degree ultra-wide-angle for selfie lovers. The Nord’s group selfie algorithm is automatically enabled when it detects a minimum of three faces in a shot with adequate lighting conditions. The group selfie algorithm cannot be enabled if there are more than six people in a shot or in HDR scenes. OnePlus Nord’s group selfie algorithm works on both the primary selfie camera and the ultra-wide angle. OnePlus claims that the Nord’s primary front camera can record in 4K at 60 fps. The 90HZ display of OnePlus Nord smartphone makes swiping snappier and scrolling smoother.
Powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 765G 5G Mobile Platform along with improved CPU speeds, the 5G-enabled OnePlus Nord smartphone renders 30 percent faster graphics than its predecessor. Moreover, it has up to 12 GB of RAM so that OnePlus Nord can run all your favourite apps at once stutter-free.
