Chinese technology company Oppo has launched its Oppo K3 smartphone in India a few days ago. Oppo had been promoting the K3 handset in India for weeks prior to its launch. Before launching the smartphone in India, the company has unveiled the Oppo K3 in its home country. The key specifications of the device include a dual rear camera setup, a pop-up selfie sensor, and an in-display fingerprint scanner. Other than Oppo K3, the company also launched its A9 smartphone recently.
Oppo K3 has been launched under the budget segment of the smartphone market in the country. If you are an interested buyer, you should know that Oppo K3’s first sale in India will begin on July 23. The handset will be going on sale via Amazon India at a starting price of Rs 16,990. The company has brought a number of promotional offers on the smartphone with which the buyers can avail a discount of up to Rs 1,000.
On the purchase of Oppo K3, the company is offering a flat cashback of Rs 1,000. The buyers will get the cashback as a part of their Amazon Pay balance. In addition to this, the company is offering another offer to its buyers where they can get a discount of Rs 2,000 on the purchase of the Oppo K3 smartphone.
If buyers pay for Oppo K3 via their Axis Bank debit and credit cards, they can get an instant discount of Rs 1,000. Apart from that, the company has another additional offer of Rs 7,050 from Reliance Jio. Buyers will also get discounts worth Rs 12,000 from Oyo and gift vouchers worth Rs 5,000 from Lenskart.
The device is available in two variants: 6GB RAM/64GB internal storage and 8GB RAM/128GB storage. The 6GB RAM variant is available at a price of Rs 16,990 and the 8GB RAM model can be purchased for Rs 19,990. Both the variants of Oppo K3 are available in two colour option Aurora Blue and Jade Black colour.
Oppo K3 smartphone specifications
Oppo K3 comes with the support of dual sim cards. The smartphone features a 6.5-inch full-HD+ (1080×2340 pixels) AMOLED display that has an aspect ratio of 19.5:9. The screen of the smartphone has an in-display fingerprint sensor embedded on it. Oppo K3 runs Android 9.0 Pie skinned with ColorOS 6.0. The smartphone is powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 710 SoC and is available with up to 8GB RAM and 256GB of internal storage. It comes with GameBoost 2.0 that gets Frame Boost and Touch Boost that improves the gaming experience for users. In addition to this, there is LinkBoost 2.0 that is claimed to uplift the network performance of the handset. The device houses 3,765mAh battery that has support for VOOC Flash Charge 3.0.
On the imaging front, Oppo K3 comes with a dual rear camera set up that includes a 16MP primary sensor (Sony IMX 519 sensor) coupled with a 2MP depth sensor that supports Ultra Night Mode 2.0 and Oppo Portrait Mode 2.0. On the front, it comes equipped with a 16MP pop-up selfie camera accompanied by Sony IMX 471 sensor.
