Due to the COVID pandemic, wearing a mask has become an essential part of our living now. This is not only the best prevention against the spread of the deadly coronavirus but it also helps people with respiratory diseases as it also filters out the dust, pollutants, and allergens from the air that you inhale. Keeping this in mind Philips has today announced the launch of a new Fresh Air Mask.
The Philips Fresh Air Mask is claimed to provide excellent breathing comfort, strong filtration performance and contemporary design. Not only this, it will protect from rising air pollution levels in the country. The Air mask comes with an air-fluid dynamic design that delivers an air ventilation performance. This is beneficial in providing fresh air, decreasing humidity, temperature, and CO2 levels.
The Philips Fresh Air Mask features a 4 layered, high filtration, non-valve filter and has a two-way filtration system so that both inhaled and exhaled air passes through the filter. The digital mask also equips a fan module which is specially designed to restrict the spread of the filtered exhaled air horizontally outward, which could potentially affect those who come in contact with the mask wearer. According to the company for effective air purification, one must replace the filter after 40 hours of usage. When used at longer intervals, it is recommended to replace the filter at least every two weeks.
