Poco today announced its new budget smartphone Poco C50 in the Indian market. The handset is powered by a MediaTek Helio A22 SoC. It also comes with a waterdrop notch display and a 5,000mAh battery. Moreover, the smartphone features an 8MP dual AI camera offering 1080p @ 30fps video recording support. Additionally, the phone runs on Android 12 Go Edition.

Poco C50 price in India and sale details

The cost of the new Poco C50 in India is Rs 6,499 for the entry-level 2GB RAM with 32GB storage model. Priced at Rs 7,299, the 3GB with 32GB variant is available. For a limited time only, Poco is selling the new gadget for Rs 6,249 and Rs 6,999 for the 2GB and 3GB RAM versions, respectively. The device will be available in the colours Country Green and Royal Blue. Sales will begin on January 10 and it is presently available on Flipkart.

Poco C50 specifications

A 6.52-inch HD+ display with a 1,600×700 pixel resolution is available on the Poco C50. The screen has a touch sampling rate of 120Hz. The gadget is powered by Android 12(Go Edition). An octa-core MediaTek Helio A22 SoC and up to 3GB of LPDDR4X RAM power the new Poco smartphone. It comes with 32GB of onboard storage, and a microSD card can be inserted into a special slot to increase the storage capacity up to 512 GB. The phone has a “premium leather-like” finish on the back panel that offers it a sophisticated appearance and a smudge-free grip. With its waterproof and dust-resistant finish, Poco C50 will have your back for any outdoor activities.

On the Poco C50, Poco has included a 5,000mAh battery. It is capable of 10W charging.

The Poco C50 has a dual rear camera system with AI support that includes an 8-megapixel primary sensor. A 5-megapixel sensor is located at the front of the device for selfies and video calls. With 1080p @ 30fps, the smartphone also provides a flawless video experience.

The Poco C50 has 4G LTE, Wi-Fi 802.11/b/g/n, Bluetooth v5, GPS/A-GPS, Glonass, Beidou, a micro-USB port, and a 3.5mm audio jack as connectivity options. It has a fingerprint sensor located on the back and an accelerometer for authentication.
