Redmi Note 10S new 8GB RAM with 128GB storage option launched, will go on sale in India today

Xiaomi’s sub-brand Redmi introduced Redmi Note 10S in India a few months back. At the time of the launch, the phone was released in two different configurations. But now the device will be available in a new variant. The Redmi Note 10S new 8GB RAM with 128GB storage option has been announced. The smartphone features a quad rear camera setup, an AMOLED display and packs a 5,000mAH battery with 33 fast charging support. It is powered by MediaTek Helio G95 SoC.

Redmi Note 10S new 8GB RAM with 128GB storage has been launched in India with a price tag of Rs 17,499. The device joins the other two variants that were launched in May this year. The phone is also available in 6GB RAM with 64GB storage and 6GB RAM with 128GB memory. The 64GB variant will be available with a price tag of Rs 14,999 whereas the 128GB storage model price has been set at Rs 15,999.

In terms of availability, the new version will go on sale in India today via Amazon, mi.com and Mi Home store. The sale will kick start at 12 noon. The launch offer includes an instant discount of Rs 1000 to the ICICI Bank credit card holder and on EMI transactions.

Redmi Note 10S tech specs

Redmi Note 10S features a 6.43-inch full-HD+ display with 1,080×2,400 pixels of resolution. It also offers a 4,500,000:1 contrast ratio, brightness up to 1,100 nits and SGS low blue light certification. This screen comes with Corning Gorilla Glass 3 protection. The phone runs MIUI 12.5 on top of Android 11 and is powered by MediaTek Helio G95 SoC, paired with Mail-G76 MC4 GPU for graphics and up to 8GB of LPDDR4X RAM and up to 128GB of UFS 2.2 storage.

For the photos and videos, there is a quad rear camera set up that includes 64-megapixel primary sensor with f/1.79 aperture, an 8-megapixel ultra-wide-angle lens with f/2.2 aperture, a two 2-megapixel macro and a depth sensor with f/2.4 aperture. In terms of selfies, it sports a 13-megapixel front-facing camera having an f/2.45 aperture.

The Redmi Note 10S houses a 5,000mAh battery with 33W fast charging support. In addition to this, the Redmi Note 10S is IP53 certified and includes dual speakers and Hi-Res Audio certification. 

Redmi Note 10 connectivity features

In terms of connectivity, there is 4G, Wi-Fi, GPS, Bluetooth, IR Blaster, NFC, 3.5mm audio jack, and a USB Type-C port for charging. The sensors on the phone include an ambient light sensor, proximity sensor, accelerometer and a side-mounted fingerprint scanner. Moreover, the handset comes with Hyperengine game tech for optimised gameplay.
