The South Korean electronics giant, Samsung, today expanded its premium lineup of refrigerators in India with the launch of new 3-Door Convertible French Door Refrigerators. The new lineup is designed for a compact modern kitchen and allows you to convert the freezer into a fridge for extra storage space with a simple touch. In addition to this, the device features a Twin Cooling Plus technology for independent fridge and freezer cooling.

The Samsung 3-Door Convertible French Door Refrigerator has been introduced in a 580L capacity at Rs 89,990. On the other hand, the 579L capacity model will be available with a starting price of Rs 95,990 in India. The refrigerators are now available for purchase via Samsung.com, and across retail partners across the country. The launch offer includes up to 10% cashback on credit and debit cards of leading banks and can also avail of no-cost, easy EMIs as low as Rs 2,499. These new refrigerators come with a 10-year warranty on the compressor and digital inverter technology that provides up to 50% energy savings.

The Samsung 3-Door Convertible French Door Refrigerators come flat exterior design offered in Stainless Steel and Black Matt finish in two capacities – 579 L with a water dispenser and a new 580 L without a water dispenser. The convertible functionality in French Door Refrigerators allows users to manage storage space as per their requirement by turning the freezer into a fridge through a simple touch of a button.
The Samsung refrigerator also sports Large Crispers with a capacity of 21.7 L each and Bigger Door Bins that can easily hold 2 L bottles. The Convenient Freezer Storage comes with two shelves and a movable ice-maker offers ease of access and more space. This device is also energy efficient too as the digital inverter technology provides up to 50% energy savings. According to the company, the Samsung Digital Inverter Compressor automatically adjusts its speed in response to cooling demand across seven levels, reducing wear and tear. The inverter technology is certified for 21-year lifespan durability with high-quality components and comes with a 10-year warranty.
French Door Refrigerators incorporate Twin Cooling Plus technology that cools the fridge and freezer sections separately. There are two separate evaporators for the fridge and freezer to minimize temperature fluctuation. It also prevents air transition between the two compartments resulting in the prevention of mixed odours. This is also said to eliminate bad odour, therefore, retaining the original flavour of food items. The Power Cool & Freeze feature also reduces the wait time when you need ice or chilled drinks faster. This functionality is provided inside both the fridge and the freezer. Just press the respective buttons for 3 seconds and get instant ice and cold beverages.
Besides this, the flat exterior design of the refrigerator sports a minimalistic Water Dispenser to get chilled water without opening the door and retain the refrigerator’s cooling. The dispenser comes with an in-built water tank of 4L capacity.
