Samsung A9 (2018) was the first smartphone in the world to launch with a quad camera setup. It was unveiled by the company last year and it came with Android 8.0 Oreo out-of-the-box. But now, Samsung has announced that the Galaxy A9 will be receiving the Android 9.0 Pie update. Although the update is live and is being received by Samsung Galaxy A9, as of now, the rollout is limited to Poland only. Samsung hasn’t announced the official dates when the rollout will be global but since the update is already is already out, the other parts of the world too will soon receive the update.

The latest Android Pie update has the firmware version A920FXXU1BSC5, and it brings the Android security patch for February. Other features include fixes and patches over the previous Android version. There is also a possibility that it would bring the Samsung One UI with the update. Although the update is out, it hasn’t been mentioned by the company if it is a beta update or a stable final update for the Poland Galaxy A9 (2018) users. The update was spotted by SamMobile.
