South Korean technology giant Samsung may have officially announced the Galaxy A30 and Galaxy A50 smartphones, but the company has not given away information about its pricing and availability. However, now the same information has been revealed by Samsung’s regional arm. A press release that was shared by Samsung’s Netherlands arm stated that the Galaxy A50 will bear a price tag of EUR 349, which is approximately Rs 28,100.
But that’s not all. If the Netherlands gave us an insight into the pricing of the device, the South Korea arm of Samsung has shed light on the global rollout of Galaxy A50 and Galaxy A30. According to Samsung South Korea, the two smartphones would be launched globally in the middle of next month. We should add that Samsung Netherlands also confirmed the mid-March availability of the Galaxy A50 handset. However, currently, there is no word on the Samsung Galaxy A30 smartphone.
It was on Monday this week that the South Korean technology company unveiled its updated Galaxy A series. While initially, the smartphone maker would launch only Samsung Galaxy A30 and Galaxy A50 handsets, eventually Galaxy A10 and Galaxy A20 will also be launched, according to reports. We should mention that in India, Galaxy A series would be launched on February 28 at an event in Mumbai, and Samsung has already sent out invites for the same. Samsung Galaxy A50 features a 6.4-inch Super AMOLED Infinity-U display that has a full-HD+ resolution and comes with an aspect ratio of 19.5:9. The smartphone is available with 4GB/6GB of RAM and 64GB/128GB of internal storage. Furthermore, it can hold a microSD card of up to 512GB. The device houses a 4,000mAh battery and is powered by an unnamed octa-core processor.
It comes with an in-display fingerprint scanner and sports a triple rear camera setup that comprises of a 25MP sensor with an f/1.7 lens, a 5MP sensor with an f/2.2 lens and an 8MP sensor with an f/2.2 lens. On the front panel, Samsung Galaxy A50 comes with a 25MP sensor with an f/2.0 lens to click selfies and make video calls.
