Today the South Korean smartphone manufacturer Samsung announced the launch of its new smartphone under the M series. The company launched Samsung Galaxy M31 in the Indian market under the mid-range segment. The key highlights of the mobile phone include  Exynos 9611 processor, Infinity-U Super AMOLED display, quad-camera set up and a massive 6000mAh battery. The smartphone will be available in a gradient finish design along with a waterdrop style notch. It runs on Android 10 out of the box. Samsung Galaxy M31 pricing and availability details

The company launched Samsung Galaxy M31 in India in two RAM and storage variants. The 6GB of RAM with 64GB storage can be purchased at Rs 14,999 whereas the 6GB of RAM with 128GB storage will come with a price tag of Rs 15,999. The device will be available in two colour options Ocean Blue and Space Black. The smartphone will go on sale via e-commerce website Amazon, Samsung.com along with select retail stores in the country from March 5th at 12 noon onwards. As for the launch offer, there will be Rs 1000 cashback on the purchase of the smartphone.

Samsung Galaxy M31 specifications

Samsung Galaxy M31 runs on new One UI 2.0 based on top of Android 10 out of the box. It features a  6.4-inch full-HD+ Infinity-U Display with a Super AMOLED panel, 1080×2340 pixels of resolution and 19.5:9 aspect ratio. The newly launched smartphone is powered by a 2.3GHz octa-core Exynos 9611 processor coupled with 6GB of RAM and up to 128GB of internal storage. The memory can be expanded up to 512GB using a microSD card. 

In terms of cameras, Samsung Galaxy M31 comes with a quad rear camera setup that houses a 64-megapixel Samsung ISOCELL Bright GW1 sensor with  f/1.8 aperture. Further assisted by an 8-megapixel ultra-wide-angle lens with 123 degrees of field of view and f/2.2 aperture, a 5-megapixel macro lens with f/2.4 aperture and 5-megapixel depth camera with an f/2.2 aperture for taking portraits. The camera set up supports 4K video recording, hyper-lapse, slow-mo and super-steady modes. There is a dedicated night mode for low light photography. While on the front there is a 32-megapixel selfie camera that supports  4k video recording and slow-mo selfies

The Samsung Galaxy M31 packs a massive 6000mAh battery that is supported by a 15W fast charger that comes inside the retail box. The company claims that on a single charge the battery delivers  26 hours of video playback and 119 hours of music playback.
