Samsung Galaxy Note 10, Samsung Galaxy Note 10+ set to launch today: How to watch the live stream

The much-awaited Samsung Galaxy Note 10 and Samsung Galaxy Note 10+ are set to launch today in India, at an event in Bengaluru. Prior to its launch in India, the South Korean Company already unveiled smartphones a few weeks ago in the US. The Indian event will be live-streamed on the company’s official English and Hindi website. The event scheduled to be held at the Samsung Opera House in Bengaluru will begin at 12 pm IST. Interested people can watch the Livestream on the official English and Hindi websites.

The Samsung Galaxy Note 10 has a 6.3-inch screen and the Galaxy Note 10+ sports a 6.8-inch display. There are several common specifications among the two smartphones. The only differences between the two devices are in their display, battery size, RAM and storage capacity.

As for price, In India Samsung Galaxy Note 10 single 8GB RAM with 256GB internal storage variant will be launched at Rs 69,999 whereas Samsung Galaxy Note 10+ 12GB RAM with 256GB of internal storage will be available at Rs 79,999.  The price of the high end 12GB RAM with 512GB onboard storage model will retail at Rs. 89,999. Both the devices will be available in Aura Black, Aura Glow, and Aura White colour options.

As the company has already revealed the price of the Galaxy Note 10 and Galaxy Note 10+ the sale is set to start on August 23. Both the phones are already up for pre-order across various online retailers like Amazon, Flipkart, Paytm Mall, Samsung Online Store, Tata Cliq and will continue till August 22.

In terms of the pre-booking offers, the buyers can avail Rs 6,000 cashback with the use of HDFC Bank credit or debit cards at retail outlets and Samsung Online Store. The similar cashback offer is available for ICICI Bank credit or debit card users on Amazon, Flipkart, Paytm Mall, and Tata Cliq.  Samsung Galaxy Note 10 and Note 10+ buyers can also buy the Galaxy watch Active at Rs 9,999 that is originally sold at Rs 19,990.

Samsung Galaxy Note 10 specifications

Samsung Galaxy Note 10 will come with a 6.3-inch full-HD+ (1080×2280 pixels) Infinity-O Display with a Dynamic AMOLED panel that supports HDR10+ and dynamic tone mapping. It runs Android 9.0 Pie with the company’s One UI on top. The phone is powered by octa-core Exynos 9825 SoC and offers 8GB of RAM and 256GB of inbuilt storage that cannot be expanded via microSD card.

On the imaging front, Samsung Galaxy Note 10 includes a triple rear camera setup that consists of a 12-megapixel wide-angle (77 degrees) primary sensor that has a variable aperture from f/1.5-f/2.4 as well as optical image stabilisation (OIS). Along with a 16-megapixel sensor with an ultra-wide-angle (123 degrees) lens and an f/2.2 aperture and a 12-megapixel sensor with a telephoto lens (45 degrees), an f/2.1 aperture, and OIS. Galaxy Note 10 has a 10-megapixel sensor on the front include with autofocus, an f/2.2 aperture, and an 80-degree field of view.

Connectivity options on the phone include 4G (LTE Cat. 20), Wi-Fi 802.11ax, Bluetooth v5.0, NFC, MST, GPS/ A-GPS, and a USB Type-C port. The Samsung Galaxy Note 10 has an accelerometer, ambient light sensor, barometer, gyroscope, magnetometer, proximity sensor, RBG light sensor, and an ultrasonic in-display fingerprint sensor onboard. It boasts a 3,500mAh battery, supported by a 25W charger. It measures 151×71.8×7.9mm and weighs 168 grams. The all-new S Pen sports a 6-axis sensor with a gyroscope and acceleration sensor.

Samsung Galaxy Note 10+ specifications

On the other and the Samsung Galaxy Note 10+ features a 6.8-inch 498ppi 3,040×1,440 pixels resolution display.  It is available in two variants, one with 12GB of RAM along with 256GB and the other with 12GB of RAM with 512GB. Both are expandable by up to 1TB via a microSD card.

Now coming on the camera capabilities, the handset comes with the same sensors but also packs an additional VGA lens that the company is calling as ‘DepthVision’ camera. This will allow the user to take 3D scans of various things. On the front, there is a 10MP camera that comes with an f/2.2 aperture and a field of view of 80 degrees. It houses a bigger 4,300mAh battery and comes with a 45W fast charger. It measures 162.3×77.2×7.9mm and weighs 196 grams.
