After months of teases and leaks, the flagship smartphones of Samsung have finally been launched at the company’s Unpacked event in San Francisco yesterday. After their release, the internet was flooded with the news of the newly-launched Samsung smartphones and wearables. The prices of the devices too were revealed but that was for the American market. But now, the Indian pricing details of the Samsung Galaxy S10 series have finally been leaked.
Speaking of Samsung Galaxy S10+, which is the most premium of the three smartphones that have been launched, its base model will reportedly be priced at Rs 73,900. Its other two variants – one with 512GB storage and other with 1TB storage – are said to cost Rs 91,900 and Rs 1,17,900 respectively.
Similarly, the Samsung Galaxy S10 will have a starting price of Rs 66,900 for the base model while the 512GB storage variant will reportedly cost Rs 84,900. Lastly, Samsung Galaxy S10e which is the most affordable of the lot will be priced at Rs 55,900 for the 128GB storage variant.
Customers who are interested in buying the devices can pre-book them till March 5 on Samsung’s official website, Amazon, Flipkart, Paytm, Tata CLiQ and few retail outlets. The pre-booked customers will get the devices from March 6. But the actual sale of the Galaxy S10 will start from March 8 on all the above-mentioned platforms.
Customers who are opting to pre-book the devices will also be eligible for additional offers. The customers who pre-book will get one out of two Samsung’s products at a heavy discount. So, they will either get the new Galaxy Buds for Rs 2,999 or the new Galaxy Watch for Rs 9,999. We should mention that the actual price of the Galaxy Buds is Rs 9,990 while the Galaxy Watch costs Rs 29,990. These customers will also be eligible for an upgrade bonus up to Rs 15,000 and HDFC cashback up to Rs 6,000. There is also an EMI option for the purchase of the devices which ranges from 3 to 24 months.

Talking about the specifications of the smartphones, Samsung Galaxy S10e comes with a 5.8-inch Full HD+ Dynamic AMOLED display. In India, the smartphone will be powered by 9 and will house a 3,100mAh battery. It will come in a 6GB RAM + 128GB storage variant and an 8GB RAM + 256GB storage variant with support for microSD cards. The device has dual rear camera setup with 12MP + 16MP sensors while the front camera has a 10MP sensor.
Samsung Galaxy S10 comes with a bigger 6.1-inch Quad HD+ Dynamic AMOLED display with 550 ppi pixel density. It too will be powered by Exynos 9820 SoC and will be available in 8GB RAM version along with 128GB or 256GB of storage options. Unlike the S10e, the Galaxy S10 has a triple camera setup comprising of 12MP + 12MP + 16MP sensors. The device has a 3,400mAh battery with fast charging 2.0 and Wireless Power Share feature. It runs on Android 9.0 Pie skinned with OneUI.
The most premium of the lot is Samsung Galaxy S10+ and it comes with a 6.4-inch Quad HD+ Dynamic AMOLED display. It runs on Exynos 9820 processor (for Indian market) and comes with 8GB of RAM and 128GB or 512GB of storage. There is also a variant with 12GB of RAM and 1TB of storage, which is the highest in any of Galaxy series. It has a 4,100mAh battery and it too comes with Fast charging 2.0 and Wireless Power Share feature. Like the Galaxy S10, it too will have a triple rear camera setup with 12MP + 12MP + 16MP sensors along with a 10MP front camera.
The report was first seen on indianexpress.com, where Jeff Fieldhack of Counter Point research told that the roughly $800 price point of the S10e is “highly unlikely this moves the dial in India” though all of the new S10 LTE family devices “look and feel very premium”.
