According to Samsung the SRI-N and SDD building’s design is inspired by the India Gate. The new workspace is designed with egalitarian linear workstations in mind, and each floor has a social hub at the entrance to encourage employee interaction, communication, and open collaboration. The majority of the workstations have natural light and amenities such as a social hub, recreation, and meeting rooms. For better ergonomics, the space also includes height-adjustable workstations that can also be used as standing desks. Moreover, people can choose where they want to sit in the workspace thanks to the hot desking concept. SRI-N employees use an internal app to select their seats for the week. Members of different teams working on a project can use the app to choose to sit together and collaborate more effectively.

Biophilia, or indoor plants in planters, is spread throughout the office as part of this principle. In addition to this Indoor Air Quality sensors are also installed on the work floors.
