The Indian fashion accessories Titan has expanded its smartwatches portfolio with the launch of its new fitness watches in India under its new brand TraQ. The company has introduced a total of three fitness gears namely Titan TraQ Lite, Titan TraQ Cardio, and Titan TraQ Triathlon. All the three variants of the new lineup features in-built GPS, transflective display, ANT+ compatibility, heart rate monitoring, and more. In addition to this Titan TraQ smartwatches are multi-sport enabled with running, cycling and swimming modes.

TraQ by Titan is the company’s latest brand to include three variants – TraQ Lite, TraQ Triathlon and TraQ Cardio. TraQ Lite comes with a price tag of Rs 3,999 and will be offered in four colour options of  Green, Orange, Red, and Yellow. Whereas Titan TraQ Cardio price in India has been set at Rs 16,999 and comes in three colour variants of green, orange, and yellow. Lastly, TraQ Triathlon is priced at Rs. 17,999 and will be available in  Blue, Green, and Red colour options.

Out of the three TraQ Lite is the most affordable and comes with entry-level activity-tracking features. There is a  chest strap that allows the user to accurately measure heart rates as well as use heart rate zones for workout based training.  The smartwatch is capable of recording up to 25 fitness sessions for one to refer to.

On the other hand, TraQ Triathlon and TraQ Cardio comes with top of line smartwatch functions that help the users to stay on track, with call and message alerts on the go, to the latest weather updates before heading out for training. The smartwatches also offer other clock features like alarm, stopwatch, and timer. Both the wearables music control feature and comes with a 290mAh battery on board that delivers up to 13 Hrs of battery life with GPS on and almost a week on standby mode with Active HRM disabled. While working out the hands get sweaty as well as greasy, therefore, operating a touchscreen watch becomes extremely cumbersome and keeping this in mind Titan has provided 5 physical buttons for better operation. Both of the Traq fitness gears are 5ATM certified for water and dust resistance.

In addition to this all the three Titan smartwatches can be connected to the TRAQ app to keep a track on performance data, pace measurement, setting goals, connecting with friends, and much more.  The app can be downloaded from Google Play Store or Apple App Store.

The pandemic has accentuated this trend creating demand for a dedicated gear for tracking performance in these sports.
