Vivo V20 Pro 5G arriving in India next month

After introducing Vivo V20 in the Indian market the Chinese smartphone company is all set to bring another new smartphone to the V20 series in the country. Yes, your guess is correct the company is gearing up to launch Vivo V20 Pro in India the following month that is November. The company’s senior executive confirmed the arrival of the smartphone via a Twitter post. To recall the smartphone was launched along with the regular variant in Thailand last month that comes with dual selfie cameras, triple rear camera setup and is powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 765G processor.

Vivo India CEO Jerome Chen on Twitter revealed via Twitter that Vivo V20 will launch in India later in the month in November. The executive responded to a user’s request to which he replied, “Got it. Will be 8n end of Nov”. Though the exact date of the launch is yet to be revealed soon this will be announced maybe earlier next month.

To recall, in Thailand last month the Pro variant was launched at TBH 14,999 that translates to Rs 35,300 for the single 8GB RAM so the smartphone is expected to launch with similar pricing in India also.

Vivo V20 Pro specifications

Vivo V20 Pro features a 6.44-inch full-HD+ AMOLED display with 1,080×2,400 pixels of resolution and a 20:9 aspect ratio with HDR10 support. It runs Funtouch OS 11 on top of Android 10. The phone is powered by an octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 765G processor for 5G support paired with 8GB of RAM and 128GB of storage option.

The Vivo V20 Pro comes with a triple rear camera setup that includes a primary 64-megapixel Samsung ISOCELL GW1 sensor with f/1.89 aperture. Further assisted by an 8-megapixel ultra-wide-angle lens with f/2.2 aperture, a 2-megapixel monochrome sensor with an f/2.4 aperture. While on the front the dual selfie camera setup on the phone that houses a 44-megapixel primary sensor with an f/2.0 aperture and an 8-megapixel ultra-wide-angle with a field of view (FoV) of 105 degrees and  f/2.28 aperture.

The device is backed by a 4,000mAh battery that supports a 33W FlashCharge fast charging solution. For connectivity, it has 5G, 4G LTE, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, GPS/ A-GPS and a USB Type-C port.
