Samsung opens reservations for the Galaxy Z Fold 6, Galaxy Z Flip 6, Galaxy Watch 7, and Buds 3 in India

New Samsung products will be unveiled during the Galaxy Unpacked event in Paris on July 10. Samsung has started accepting pre-orders for its upcoming devices in India ahead of the launch event. These devices include the Galaxy Z Fold 6, Galaxy Z Flip 6, Galaxy Watch 7, and Buds 3. Benefits up to Rs 7,000 are offered for early bookings. More about this is given below:

Samsung plans to launch its new foldable phones both globally and in India. The company has set July 10 for its upcoming Galaxy Unpacked event. The company’s newest foldable smartphones, the Galaxy Z Fold 6 and Z Flip 6, as well as the Galaxy Watch 7, Galaxy Watch Ultra, Galaxy Buds 3, Galaxy Buds 3 Pro, and Galaxy Ring, might all be revealed at the same time. Pre-orders for Samsung’s next generation of foldable smartphones are now being accepted.

Samsung officially announced that its next Galaxy Unpacked event will take place on July 10. Unlike previous Galaxy Unpacked events that took place in the US and Europe and Seoul, South Korea this one will take place in Paris, France. Starting at 6.30 PM IST (3 p.m. CEST, 6 a.m. PDT, 9 a.m. and EDT), the event will be streamed live on the company’s website, Samsung Newsroom and the company’s official YouTube channel.

Sony ULT Field 7 Review: The ULTimate Party Speaker

Sony has become the market leader in the party speakers segment with a 30% market share in India. And they want to extend the lead when it comes to these neat audio devices. We have been extensively testing Sony ULT Field 7 from Sony unveiled ULT POWER SOUND series in India, and this is its review.

Sony ULT Field 7 Review: Design

Sony has always been fabulous at designing its audio products and the ULT Field 7 is no different. A similar yet fresh cylindrical design can be seen on this party speaker. Rubberised sides, a cloth mesh running across the middle part, Sony’s branding and a couple of raised rubber keys can be seen on the device.

The mesh hides twin 46MM tweeters as well as two 114mm woofers. All four are front-firing, located right behind the Sony logo. The rear has a rubber panel that hides additional ports and keys. These include USB, power, an auxiliary port for a guitar or microphone, and a 3.5mm audio port. The battery button can also be found here, which tells you the exact battery left. Remember to place back the rubber panel tightly, as the speaker is IP67 waterproof rated. And if you keep the panel open water can seep in through the ports.

Sony ULT Field 7 rear panel

The top key panel has play/pause, volume, Bluetooth, power and a special ULT button. We will talk about this key a bit more in the performance section. As for placing the device, users can either place the Sony ULT Field 7 like a tower or horizontally on a flat surface. Being a Sony speaker, light effects are also part of the package. RGB lights run along the circular sides as well as on the ULT button. These can be configured easily using the Sony Music Center App.

Overall, the Sony ULT Field 7 is quite a delicious-looking party speaker that will demand a lot of attention in any kind of surrounding. Yes, one can also take it out as it weighs under 6.5 Kgs, so lugging it to the deck or balcony is not a problem.

Sony ULT Field 7 Review: Performance

To tell you the truth, we were expecting the Sony ULT Field 7 to be good, but it surpassed all our expectations. No matter what type of song or even Netflix movie audio we threw at it, and yes we threw some doozies, this X party speaker just made everything sound so nice!

The speakers are just fabulous for any type of room and even outdoors. These are truly made for parties and the best thing is that you can connect up to 100 of these together if you are in a very large area. The icing on the cake is the shining ULT button located in the key panel of the speaker. It has two modes – ULT 1 (low-power bass mode) and ULT 2. So what does ULT 2 do? It has the capability to knock your socks off. It is by far the best mode on any Sony speaker and if you love bass, deep bass, you will adore it.

The vocals are clear, the highs and lows are very audible, and the bass does not overpower them in any manner. The Sony ULT Field 7 can even connect an external MIC for karaoke. Music can be played in multiple ways. Bluetooth 5.2 is supported so smartphones or devices that have that in them are one way to play the best audio. The other way is via a USB stick or the auxiliary ports. The speaker system does perfect justice to all of them.

Battery life of the Sony ULT Field 7 is also good. While Sony does claim it can last for 30 hours (with lights off and lower volume levels), on our tests we were able to squeeze out over 11 hours on ULT mode 2 (40-50% volume) and the LED lights were always on. Charging the device is easy too and it can supply up to 3 hours of playback in just 10 minutes of charge. It takes about 5 hours to fully charge.

Verdict

Sony has done a fabulous job in building the Sony ULT Field 7. The only thing that might pinch a few is its slightly higher price tag of Rs 49,990, however, we have seen deals running on e-commerce platforms where users can procure the speaker for Rs 10,000 cheaper, which seems to be an excellent price. All in all, you get superb resonance, exceptional design, waterproof rating, ability to connect extra peripherals and did we mention this one has an excellent deep base. We were blown away and we see no reason not to buy it.

Our Take

The water splash and dust resistance ratings of the OnePlus Nord CE 4 Lite and Nord CE 3 Lite differ, with the latter providing superior IP55 protection. With its new AMOLED display, the OnePlus Nord CE 4 Lite boasts a brightness of 1200nits, which is higher than the 550nits of its predecessor. However, both come with a refresh rate of 120Hz.

With the same RAM and storage choices, the OnePlus Nord CE4 Lite is powered by the same Qualcomm Snapdragon 695 5G SoC as the Nord CE 3 Lite and Nord CE 2 Lite. Accordingly, both smartphones will function similarly for a range of tasks.

Compared to the OnePlus Nord CE3 Lite, which has a 108MP primary camera, the Nord CE4 Lite sports a 50MP camera with an improved Sony LYT-600 sensor and optical image stabilisation. For video calls or selfies, both devices feature a 16MP front camera. Compared to the OnePlus Nord CE4 Lite, there has been a minor improvement in battery life and charging speed support.

If you’re on a tight budget, the  OnePlus Nord CE 3 Lite is a better option. But if you want a better display, software support, better endurance and charging speed then you can upgrade to the OnePlus Nord CE 4 Lite.

Motorola plans to unveil its new Razr foldable phones on June 25, 2024, in China with AI, larger screens, and high refresh rates. Prices for the Razr and Razr Plus are expected to stay around $700 and $1,000, respectively. The firm teased the release with a short video on X, formerly known as Twitter, titled “Flip the Script 06.25.24.”. Following its launch in China, the Razr 50 Ultra will make its way to India, where it will be available for purchase on Amazon. The firm has also previewed six new AI features that will be available on the Razr 50 Ultra.

The Motorola Razr 50 Ultra launch microsite has gone up on Amazon in India ahead of its release. This means that the Razr 50 Ultra will be available in India shortly. The microsite lists several AI-powered capabilities from Motorola that will be available on the upcoming flip phone. These include Adaptive Stabilisation, Action Shot, Intelligent Auto Focus Tracking, Photo Enhancement Pro, Super Zoom, Colour Optimisation, Style Sync, and AI Magic Canvas.

Motorola Razr 50 Ultra is said to be a rebranded Razr+ 2024 in the United States. According to Geekbench, the Motorola Razr 50 Ultra will have a Qualcomm Snapdragon 8s Gen 3 processor, 12GB of RAM, and capability for 68W fast charging. The device has already received TENAA certification, which indicates a 3830mAh battery. It also has a dual-camera arrangement, with two 50MP sensors and a 32MP selfie camera.

According to reports, the 2024 Razr editions will feature a 120Hz pOLED screen and a 3.63-inch cover display. The Ultra variant may include a larger 4-inch cover screen with a 165Hz refresh rate. Both models are expected to have a 50-megapixel primary camera. The Razr Ultra will most likely include a 2x telephoto camera, while the Razr will have a 13-megapixel ultrawide lens.

Rumours also say that the phones would have a vegan leather back, adding a premium touch to their appearance.
