Oppo Reno 16, Reno 16c have officially gone on sale in the Indian market today. The devices made their debut last week, featuring a 120Hz AMOLED display and Oppo Bubble with a 1.73-inch AMOLED preview display. Both smartphones come pre-installed with ColorOS 16, which is based on Android 16. The standard model comes with a Snapdragon 7 Gen 4 processor, whereas the 16C has a MediaTek Dimensity 7300 SoC under its hood.

Price in India, Availability
The Oppo Reno 16 is not up for sale in India at a starting price of Rs 61,999 for the 8GB RAM with 256GB of storage. The price of the 12GB RAM with 256GB model is set at Rs 67,999. Whereas the Oppo Reno 16C will be available at a price beginning at Rs 46,999 for the 8GB RAM with 128GB storage. The 8GB RAM with 256GB storage options can be purchased for 49,999. Lastly, the 12GB RAM with 256GB storage configuration will be accessible at Rs 55,999.
All the models are available in three colourways: Starry White, Stellar Purple, and Twilight Violet.
Apart from this, the firm also introduced the Oppo Bubble with a 1.73-inch AMOLED preview display. The magnetic attachment is selling at Rs 7,999. The device, together with the smartphone, is available for purchase via the company’s official website in the country, Amazon and Flipkart along with key retailers.

The Reno 16 has an AMOLED display of 6.32 inches with a resolution of 1,216 x 2,640 pixels. It has a high refresh rate of 120Hz for smoother visuals, a pixel density of 460 pixels per inch (ppi) and a peak brightness of 3,500 nits. The Reno 16c features a 6.57-inch AMOLED display with a resolution of 1,080×2,372 pixels and a lower pixel density of 397 ppi. It does, however, tie the Reno 16 for max refresh rate while hitting a peak brightness of 1,400 nits. Both the devices support IP66, IP68, IP69, and IP69K ratings for dust and water resistance.
The triple rear camera setups on the phones are almost similar except for the ultra-wide lenses. There is a 50-megapixel (f/1.8) main sensor with a 1/1.95-inch Sony LYT-600 sensor and optical image stabilisation. It also features a 50-megapixel (f/2.0) ultrawide camera (Reno 16), an 8-megapixel ultrawide camera (Reno 16C) and a 50-megapixel (f/2.8) telephoto camera with an 80mm equivalent focal length. Both of them feature a 50-megapixel front-facing camera that is perfect for selfies and video calls.
Under their hood, there is Qualcomm’s octa-core Snapdragon 7 Gen 4 chipset paired with up to 12GB of LPDDR5x RAM for the Oppo Reno 16. The 16C, on the other hand, comes with an octa-core MediaTek Dimensity 7300 SoC. Both the smartphones support up to 256GB of UFS 3.1 storage. On the software front there is ColorOS 16 based on Android 16.

The Oppo Reno 16 is fuelled by a 6,700mAh battery, whereas the Oppo Reno 16C is stuffed with a slightly larger 7,000mAh battery. But both of them support 0W wired fast charging.
