Different smartphones support different charging speeds. If you own a device with fast-charging support, you’ll need to use an adapter that is able to deliver those speeds. Naturally, a 20W charger won’t be able to deliver the current at a rate that an 80W adapter can. For best results, use the charging brick that came with your smartphone.
Your phone will hit its maximum charging speed only when its charger is connected to a wall outlet. If you’re charging it through a laptop, the speed will be throttled. This is the case with most power banks as well. This is why it is important to check the power delivery speed of a power bank before making the purchase.
If the charging cable is damaged, it won’t be able to deliver the current at a fast speed. Check the cable for frayed ends. If you don’t notice any physical damage, the pins might be at fault. Charge another device using the cable to confirm whether it is at fault.
A dirty USB-C port is bound to throttle the charging speed. Over time, dust and grime can collect on the port and cause all sorts of issues. We recommend dipping a small Q-tip in isopropyl alcohol and scrubbing it around the affected area. Give your phone a few taps to dislodge the dirt particles.
Old batteries discharge a lot quicker than new ones. If your phone’s battery has worn out, it can still discharge while it is plugged into the charger. This often results in a very low charge increment even after hours of charging. While there is no ‘fix’ to this situation (apart from buying a new phone or replacing the battery), turning on the Airplane Mode can give the charging speed a small boost.
If your phone is running several apps in the background, it won’t charge as fast as you want it to. Go to the app switcher and clear all the apps before plugging in the charger. You will notice a visible rise in charging speed. You may also want to use device settings to check which app is draining the battery the most.
If you notice that your phone starts overheating when you put it on charge, you should consider turning it off. Sometimes, even the most basic background tasks, like network reception, can cause the internal temperature to rise while charging. This issue is more common on older phones. Turn off your phone before plugging in the charger to boost the speed and keep the heating issues in check.
A faulty internet connection often throws a location error in Microsoft Authenticator. The easiest way to fix this is by switching to a different WiFi network. If you don’t have access to another network, create a personal hotspot on your smartphone. Connect to the hotspot from your PC and use the mobile data to use the Authenticator app.
The plastic earcups may not exude the most premium vibe, but CMF has absolutely nailed the control array. For starters, the earcups aren’t touch-sensitive, which means you don’t need to worry about any accidental triggers while adjusting the headset. Secondly, the physical button array is very well thought out.
The left earcup houses the power button, an ‘Energy’ slider (for bass/treble), a 3.5mm port, and a power light between 2 microphones with wind meshes. The opposite earcup contains a USB-C port, a low battery/charging indicator, a customisable key that’s set to trigger the voice assistant by default, a volume roller that doubles as a play/pause and ANC/transparency button, and another meshed microphone.
For us, the lack of an IPX4 rating on these headphones is a bigger tradeoff than their plastic build. They are rated IPX2 for water resistance, which means they can handle exposure to light sweat. We did not feel confident wearing these headphones to the gym and putting them through an intense workout. Taking them out in light drizzle was out of the question.
The Headphone Pro uses 40mm drivers to deliver its audio output. The diaphragm has a PEN+PU polymer dome and Nickel plating. The resulting soundstage is wide, lush, and full of amazing details. The mid and high frequencies get enough room to express themselves. This lends the soundstage a very pleasant ‘pop’. The low-end is prominent but doesn’t shroud over the entire spectrum. You get just enough dosage of bass to enjoy the thump without losing the finer details in the background. You can crank the volume up to 100% without feeling any harshness or distortion in the output.
The Energy slider on the left earcup boosts the bass by default, but you can set it to adjust the treble using the Nothing X app. A dollop of extra bass sounds like a good idea in theory, but it is quite hard to pull off as it can muddle the output. This is the case here as well. In small doses, the added bass does bring a punch, but it quickly takes over and dominates the mix once you push the slider to its limit. We found the treble boost option much more useful, especially while listening to podcasts.
Creating a custom EQ profile requires installing the Nothing X app. The 3-band equaliser is on par with what we’ve seen on CMF’s TWS offerings. On top of that, you get 5 preset EQ profiles – Pop, Rock, Electronic, Enhance Vocals, and Classical. The companion app also lets you take a quick test to calibrate the sound according to your hearing. The new profile is saved on the headphone itself, so you don’t have to take the test again when you pair it with a new device.
If you’re interested in gaming, there’s a handy low-latency mode on offer. You will need to enable it from the companion app, as there is no option to assign this function to one of the customisable buttons. Nevertheless, it puts up a good performance, completely eliminating the lag between gaming visuals and audio output. You can also enable the Dual Connection mode from the companion app if you want to pair the headphones to another device. The media handoff isn’t exactly seamless. We had to pause the music on one device to channel the audio from the other.
The 720mAh Li-ion battery pack can go up to 100 hours on a full charge. Of course, this means disabling the ANC, sticking to the AAC audio codec, and not going beyond the 50% volume level. During the review period, we used the Headphone Pro for 5-6 hours per day, keeping the ANC on at all times, oscillating within the 60-100% volume range, and employing the LDAC codec for HD listening. We weren’t able to deplete the battery after a week of use, ending the period with 20% charge left in the tank. A Type-C charger takes up to 2 hours to fully replenish the battery pack. A 5-minute quick charge offers up to 8 hours of playtime (with ANC turned off).

Motorola Signature is official in India, and it is arriving with a very pointed message: If you care about cameras and concierge-style ownership perks, this one wants to sit on your shortlist. The Motorola Signature price effectively starts at Rs 54,999 with launch offers, while a new Moto Watch powered by Polar starts at Rs 5,999. Sales begin January 30, 2026, via Flipkart, Motorola’s online store, and retail partners.
Motorola is leaning hard into imaging credentials this time. The phone carries a DXOMARK camera score of 164, and Motorola says this positions it as a top camera performer in India under the Rs 1,00,000 segment.
At the centre is a triple 50MP rear setup led by a Sony LYTIA 828 main sensor, paired with a periscope telephoto and an ultra-wide that also doubles as macro. Motorola is also highlighting 8K video recording, Dolby Vision video, and Pantone-validated colour tuning. In short, it is trying to cover the creator checklist: wide, zoom, macro, and stable video.

Motorola also bundles a stack of AI camera tools, including scene-based tuning, action capture, and group-photo assistance, plus Google Photos AI editing features such as object removal, unblur tools, and stylised motion effects to reduce post-processing effort.
Under the hood, the phone uses Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 8 Gen 5, paired with up to 16GB LPDDR5X RAM and up to 1TB UFS 4.1 storage. Motorola claims a large vapour chamber and mesh-based cooling system to help sustain performance during gaming, heavy multitasking, and AI workloads.
On the front, Motorola lists a 6.8-inch 1.5K AMOLED panel with a 165Hz refresh rate, very high peak brightness, and protection from Gorilla Glass Victus 2. Expect punchy contrast, smooth scrolling, and a display tuned for both binge-watching and fast-paced gaming.
Motorola is framing Signature as a luxury-leaning phone, with an ultra-thin 6.99mm body, a 186g weight, an aircraft-grade aluminium frame, and fabric-inspired finishes in two colour options: Martini Olive and Carbon (dark blue). On protection, the company cites IP68 and IP69 ratings plus MIL-STD-810H testing claims, covering drops, splashes, dust, and tougher environmental scenarios.
Here is the twist that separates this launch from the usual spec race. Motorola says Signature owners get Signature Club privileges, including 24×7 live agent support and access to curated lifestyle services through an app subscription for a year. The list includes travel and reservations-style assistance, lifestyle bookings, and even day-to-day helpers like wellness sessions, pet care, and event coordination. There is also a “welcome” benefit where the first service is complimentary up to Rs 6,000, depending on eligibility.
Motorola claims up to 41 hours of usage from its silicon-carbon battery. Charging support includes 90W wired and 50W wireless, plus reverse charging. On software, the phone runs Android 16-based Hello UI, and Motorola is promising 7 OS upgrades and 7 years of security updates, which matters if you buy flagships and keep them longer than one hype cycle.

Affordability offers include Rs 5,000 instant bank discount (select banks) or exchange bonus up to Rs 5,000 (higher for select models, as stated). Sales start January 30, 2026.
Alongside the phone, Motorola introduced the Moto Watch powered by Polar, aimed at people who want health tracking without wearing something that screams “gym gadget.” Highlights include a 1.4-inch circular OLED display, dual-band GPS, IP68 + 1ATM water resistance, and Polar-backed wellness insights like sleep tracking, recovery metrics, SpO2, and heart rate monitoring.
Pricing starts at Rs 5,999 for the silicone strap variant and Rs 6,999 for the metal and leather variants. Motorola also mentions a bundle benefit that can reduce the watch price when purchased with the phone, valid for a limited period.
The most interesting thing here is not one more “fast chip, bright screen” flagship. It is Motorola trying to sell a whole premium routine: a camera that wants bragging rights, a concierge-style club that aims for daily usefulness, and a watch that looks like a watch first and acts like a coach second. If the camera consistency holds up outside press-demo lighting, the Signature could be a rare flagship that feels like a lifestyle bundle instead of a spec-sheet flex.
The device’s core is an Amlogic processor, which works with 1GB of RAM and 8GB of internal storage to provide effective functioning. The television has a voice-enabled remote that can recognise several Indian languages. Notably, this remote includes special shortcut keys that allow users to quickly access popular streaming platforms like Netflix, JioCinema, Jio Hotstar, and YouTube, streamlining the viewing experience and ensuring customer convenience.

Thomson is expanding its relationship with the Jio digital ecosystem with the debut of a new device, a television running the JioTele OS. This smart television gives consumers access to over 400 free live TV channels and 300 JioGames. It also offers a varied array of global and regional over-the-top (OTT) platforms available through the Jio Store. Notably, the platform contains AI-driven content recommendations to improve the user experience, as well as a dedicated sports mode that caters to consumers’ growing interest in live sports and personalised content discovery on connected televisions.
