AiOs have traditionally been seen as niche devices. What has changed in consumer behaviour that makes this the right time for ASUS to double down on the category?
Traditionally, AiOs were often viewed as niche products primarily targeted at specific office or premium home setups. However, consumer behaviour in India has evolved significantly, especially as digital adoption has expanded deeper into Tier II and Tier III markets.
What we are increasingly seeing in these markets is that computing devices are rarely being used for just one purpose or by one individual. A single system today may support office work, online learning, entertainment, small business operations or content consumption within the same household. In many cases, these devices function as shared digital resources for families or small work environments.
This shift has increased demand for systems that are easy to use, space-efficient, reliable, and capable of delivering a more immersive experience for multiple users. AiOs naturally align well with these requirements through larger displays, cleaner setups, simplified installation, and integrated performance within a single device. At the same time, users are also becoming more conscious about how technology fits into modern homes and workspaces. There is a growing preference for clutter-free environments and devices that combine aesthetics with functionality, particularly as home offices and hybrid work setups become more common.
How does Snapdragon help enhance the experience on the AiO VM441, especially around AI features, battery efficiency, and everyday productivity?
The Snapdragon platform plays an important role in making the ASUS AiO VM441 a more intelligent, responsive, and efficient everyday computing system. With the Snapdragon X processor and a dedicated 45 TOPS NPU, the device is designed to handle AI workloads more efficiently directly on the device, enabling smoother and more practical AI-driven experiences.
From a productivity standpoint, this helps improve everyday tasks such as multitasking, video collaboration, document workflows, and application responsiveness. Features like Copilot+ experiences, AI Noise Cancellation, and intelligent camera enhancements become more seamless because AI processing can happen locally with lower latency and better efficiency.
The platform also supports a more connected and fluid user experience overall, whether it is faster wake time, private on-device AI features from smart photo handling to intelligent assistance and real-time voice processing. Combined with the AiO VM441’s touchscreen form factor. Dolby Atmos audio and integrated collaboration features, Snapdragon helps deliver a computing experience that feels natural, intuitive and better aligned with how users work and interact today.
ASUS says around 30% of purchases are now driven by easy financing and no-cost EMI. Are Indian consumers becoming more aspirational in their tech purchases?
India is a highly dynamic and rapidly evolving market, and consumers today are becoming significantly more aspirational in their technology purchases. One trend we have particularly observed over the last year is the positive response towards bringing ASUS products to India closer to their global launch timelines. Consumers today are far more aware of global technology trends, and they increasingly want access to the latest technology without long waiting cycles.
Keeping this in mind, we have consciously worked towards reducing the gap between global and India launches across categories. At the same time, as consumer aspirations continue to evolve, we also recognised that accessibility and affordability become equally important in enabling adoption.
This is where financing programs and no-cost EMI options are playing a meaningful role. Flexible payment options help make these purchases more comfortable and practical. Under ASUS’s easy financing solutions, we’re offering No-Cost EMI options for up to 12 months, flexible low-cost EMI tenures up to 24 months, along with Zero Down Payment and Flexible Down Payment structures that allow consumers to choose plans aligned to their budgets.
For the new ASUS VM441QA AiO, consumers can avail flexible financing options through ASUS Easy Financing solutions, including No Cost EMI plans starting at ₹5666/month, up to 12 months [NBFC or Bank EMI], along with cashback of up to ₹2,500 on EMI applicable on select bank cards.
We have also introduced targeted initiatives such as student-focused EDU offers, employee purchase programs across 200+ partner organisations, and ‘Assured Buyback’ programs that help reduce long-term ownership costs while enabling easier upgrades to newer ASUS devices. We are particularly seeing this shift among students, young professionals, entrepreneurs, and consumers in emerging markets, where financing is helping make premium and AI-powered technology significantly more accessible.
The AiO VM441 focuses on design, a large interactive display, and AI optimisation. Which user segments are you targeting most aggressively with this product?
With the AiO VM441, we are primarily targeting users who are looking for a versatile and modern computing experience that balances productivity, entertainment, and simplicity within a single device. This includes young professionals working in hybrid environments, students and shared households that require a larger collaborative screen experience, as well as SOHOs and entrepreneurs looking for clean and efficient workspace setups.
We also see strong relevance in Tier II and Tier III markets, where devices are often used as shared computing systems within families or small businesses. In these environments, factors such as a clutter-free design, touchscreen interaction, immersive audio-visual experiences, and reliable everyday performance become especially important.
At the same time, with AI-powered capabilities through the Snapdragon X platform and Copilot+ experiences, the VM441 is also designed for users who are increasingly engaging with AI-assisted workflows, communication tools, multitasking, and content-driven applications in their daily routines.
With hybrid work and online learning continuing to evolve, how are AiOs becoming more relevant for Indian homes and workspaces today?
Hybrid work and digital collaboration have fundamentally changed what users expect from their primary computing setup. Today, consumers are placing greater importance on larger displays, better video conferencing experiences, immersive audio, and setups that remain comfortable for long hours of work or learning.
This is where AiOs are becoming increasingly relevant. Unlike traditional desktop setups that often involve multiple components and cable management, AiOs offer a more streamlined and integrated experience while still delivering desktop-class performance. They fit naturally into modern homes, study spaces, and compact work environments where simplicity and efficient use of space matter.
We are also seeing AI become a more important part of everyday workflows, whether through intelligent noise cancellation, camera enhancements, or AI-assisted productivity experiences. With devices like the ASUS AiO VM441, the focus is on making these experiences more seamless while combining performance, entertainment, and collaboration within a single system.
