Remove Shorts from YouTube Home
The next best and easiest way to disable YouTube Shorts is from the Home tab. All you have to do is click on the 3 dots on the corner of the Shorts clip and mark every clip as Not Interested. This way the Shorts won’t appear even if you refresh your feed.
Downgrade the YouTube App
If the Shorts feature irritates you so much, you can consider taking the route of downgrading the YouTube app itself. You would need to downgrade the app to its version 14.12.56.

The last way to resort to disabling the Youtube Shorts feature in the YouTube app is by using its Vanced version. It is a modded version of the YouTube app with some premium features like disabling ads, stories and sponsored content within the app. And yes, you guessed it right. It also offers you the option of disabling the Shorts feature among the others. All you need to do is go to Settings > Vanced Settings > Ad Settings, and turn on the Shorts shelf removal option from therein. That’s it!
