How to get a YouTube handle
YouTube has started rolling out handles for the creators on the website. The process to reserve your YouTube handle is fairly simple if you’re eligible to get one. Here’s how you can get your own handle.
Step 1: Go to www.youtube.com/handle.
Step 2: In the window that pops up, type in your desired handle. If the handle is available, a green tick will appear next to it.
Step 3: Select ‘Confirm Selection’.
Your desired handle will be assigned to your channel.
This is how you can get a YouTube handle and a personalised YouTube URL for your account or channel. One of the many benefits of having a handle is that it is unique to your channel. YouTube allows multiple channels to have the same name, but a handle is reserved for one account. This makes it easy to identify a channel and tag it wherever you want.
