Using these easy steps you can enable desktop notifications for WhatsApp web and the WhatsApp app. If you’re still not receiving any notifications from Whatsapp, it might be because your browser is blocking the notifications. In order to resolve this go to the Chrome menu and then select Settings>Privacy and Security>Site Settings>Notifications. Search for web.whatsapp.com in the web bar and allow notifications. Sometimes Google Chrome blocks notifications from websites by default so you may want to allow Whatsapp Web notifications before you continue.
