Alexa on Fire TV aims at providing access to the most comprehensive voice control playback for a seamless streaming experience.
Mind you! The users can browse and search content from these wide range of apps by just using their Alexa voice remote or pairing Fire TV with Echo devices. Along with that, the users can even ask Alexa to control playback on YouTube, Netflix and Jio Cinema as well as Amazon Prime Video. The users can use Alexa to play content and control playback within select apps by saying “Alexa, play Sacred Games on Netflix” or “Alexa, play movie trailers on YouTube” or, “Alexa, forward thirty minutes” or “Alexa, rewind twenty seconds”
Moreover, it has been revealed that if users ask “Alexa, find comedies”, Alexa will find comedy content from the above mentioned apps and show search results best matching their request.

Earlier, it was announced that the Amazon Shopping app users can pay bills across categories such as electricity, water, post-paid mobile, cooking gas, broadband and DTH recharges – faster using Alexa. Powered by Amazon Pay and Alexa, this new feature is currently available to Android users. All a user has to do is simply tap the microphone icon on the Amazon shopping app and ask “Alexa, pay my electricity bill” or “Alexa, recharge my DTH”.
If you wish to add money or check Amazon Pay balance, just tap on the microphone icon on the Amazon shopping app and ask “Alexa, what is my Amazon Pay balance?” and she will instantly tell your current balance amount as well as show it to you on the app.
