Mi Note 10 with the 108-megapixel camera to arrive in India soon

The Chinese smartphone brand Xiaomi now has officially announced that soon it will be bringing a new smartphone to India with a 108-megapixel camera. Yes, Mi Note 10 will arrive in India soon Xiaomi India’s CEO Manu Kumar Jain officially shared the news via a tweet. The phone is the rebranded version of Mi CC9 Pro popularly known in the international market. The biggest highlight of the device is the 108-megapixel camera sensor it features.

Earlier this month Xiaomi introduced Mi CC9 Pro in China. The company has already launched the phone in various international markets with a new name. The company also launched the phone in Spain as Mi Note 10 in the same way the phone will arrive in India as a rebranded version of Mi CC9 Pro. The device is a photography centric phone.

Mi Note 10 Pro expected pricing

Xiaomi launched Mi Note 10 in Spain at EUR 549 that translates to Rs 43,200 for the 6GB of RAM with 128GB of internal storage. Whereas the Mi Note 10 Pro has been priced at EUR 649 that translates to Rs 51,000 for the 8GB RAM and 256GB storage. They have been made available in three colour options Glacier White, Aurora Green and Midnight Black colour.

Whereas in China Mi CC9 9 Pro has been priced at CNY 2,799 that translates to Rs 28,000 for the 6GB of RAM with 128GB of internal storage whereas the 8GB RAM and 256GB storage option comes with a price tag of CNY 3,099 that translates to Rs 31,000.

Mi Note 10 specifications  

There is not much difference between Mi Note 10 and Pro. The only difference is the RAM and storage plus the Pro variant features an 8P lens whereas the Mi Note 10 comes with a 7P lens. Both the phones run on MIUI 11 and are powered by octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 730G processor coupled with 8GB of RAM and 256Gb of internal storage. The storage cannot be expanded though. The devices feature a 6.47-inch curved full-HD+ OLED display offering 398ppi of pixel density with 1,080×2,340 pixels of resolution and 600 nits of brightness. The back panel sports a 3D curved glass and has rounded corners and tapered edges.

In terms of cameras, Mi Note 10 and Mi Note 10 Pro comes with a Penta-camera setup on the rear. The set up includes a 108-megapixel primary camera with an f/1.69 aperture along with four-axis OIS. It is further assisted by a 20-megapixel wide-angle lens with a 117-degree field of view, a 12-megapixel and a 5-megapixel telephoto lens and a 2-megapixel macro camera with an f/2.4 aperture. It allows up to 5X optical zoom, 10x hybrid zoom, and 50x digital zoom. The cameras are capable of recording a 4K video at 30fps. While on the front there is a 32-megapixel selfie camera with an f/2.0 aperture.

Both the phones are supported by an in-display fingerprint sensor and it houses a 5,260mAh battery. The battery is supported by 30W fast charging technology that is touted to charge the phone completely in 65 minutes.
