The newest low-cost smartphone from Oppo has been released in India. The company has introduced Oppo A17k which is driven by a MediaTek Helio G35 SoC. It has a 5,000mAh battery and comes with extended RAM capability. Moreover, the device is water resistant to IPX4 standards. The Oppo A17k utilises ColorOS 12.1.1. There is a 5-megapixel selfie camera on it.

The company has now provided any specific availability date for the smartphone but it has been listed on the company’s official website in the country.

A 5-megapixel lens with an f/2.2 aperture and a 76.8-degree field of view is available for selfies.  The Oppo A17k is fueled by a 5,000mAh battery. The budget smartphone has Wi-Fi 802.11a/b/g/n, Bluetooth v5.3, GPS/A-GPS, Glonass, Beidou, a micro USB port, and a 3.5mm audio connector as connectivity options. Magnetic, light, and gravity sensors are among the onboard sensors. The phone features facial recognition technology and a fingerprint sensor on the side for authentication.
