Samsung Galaxy S21 FE to go on sale in India from January 11, pre-orders begin

Pre-ordering for the Samsung Galaxy S21 FE has already kicked off in India. The newly launched Fan Edition will be going on sale in the country on January 11. The device was announced by the company in the United Kingdom and globally last week. The gadget has the same size and shape as the Galaxy S21. The Fan Edition has a 120Hz AMOLED display and an elevated rear camera module with three back cameras.

Samsung Galaxy S21 FE pre-orders, sale details

Samsung Galaxy S21 FE preorders in India are now live until January 11. The device is available for pre-order for Rs 999 via the Samsung India eStore and the Samsung Shop app. In India, the Samsung phone will go on sale on January 11.

The buyers pre-ordering the latest S-series smartphone will receive a ‘Next Galaxy VIP Pass,’ which entitles them to a free Galaxy SmartTag worth Rs 2,699 when they do so. Also, they can cancel their pre-reserve pass and receive a full refund.

In the UK the Samsung Galaxy S21 FE 5G is priced at EUR 699 that translates to Rs 70,200 for the 128GB storage and EUR 749 that converts to Rs 75,200 for the 256GB storage variant. The phone will be available in Graphite, Lavender, Olive, and White colours.

Android 12 runs on the Samsung Galaxy S21 FE , with One UI 4 overlaid on top. It boasts a 6.4-inch full-HD+ Dynamic AMOLE 2X display with a 120Hz refresh rate and up to 240Hz touch sampling rate. An octa-core SoC and up to 8GB of RAM are included in the phone. The new smartphone has up to 256GB of inbuilt storage. The phone also has an in-display fingerprint sensor. It’s also designed to IP68 specifications, meaning it can survive dust and water to some extent.

A 12-megapixel primary sensor with an f/1.8 wide-angle lens, a 12-megapixel ultra-wide sensor, and an 8-megapixel telephoto sensor make up the triple rear camera setup on the Galaxy S21 FE 5G. For selfies and video calls, the gadget also includes a 32-megapixel front camera with an f/2.2 aperture.

Connectivity options include 5G, 4G LTE, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, GPS/ A-GPS, NFC, and a USB Type-C connection. Onboard sensors include an accelerometer, ambient light sensor, barometer, gyro, magnetometer, and proximity sensor.

The Galaxy S21 FE 5G has a 4,500mAh battery with 25W cable charging and 15W wireless charging capabilities. Samsung’s Wireless PowerShare technology also comes standard on the phone, allowing you to charge other devices from afar.
