The Chinese smartphone company Vivo today arrived with another budget-friendly smartphone in the Indian market. The company has introduced Vivo Y21e under its popular Y-Series. The device features a waterdrop notch design display. It also has a dual camera on its back and comes mounted with a fingerprint sensor on its side.
Vivo Y21e specifications
Coming to the specifications Vivo Y21e features a 6.51-inch HD+ Halo Full View Display with 1600×720 pixels of resolution. The screen offers 20:0 aspect ratios and an 80 percent screen to body ratio. For a more comfortable viewing experience, the added Eye Protection Mode filters off dangerous blue light. The phone runs on FunTouch OS 12 on top of Android 12 out of the box. Under the hood, there is a Qualcomm Snapdragon 680 SoC paired with 3GB of LPPDR4X RAM and 64GB UFS 2.1 internal storage. The memory can be further expanded up to 1TB using a microSD card.
In addition to this, there is Adreno GPU 610 for graphics and Multi Turbo 5.0 that is claimed to improve data connection, system processor speed and power-saving performance. The mobile phone also includes Ultra Game Mode for better gaming performance. Apart from this, the extended RAM feature uses up to 0.5GB of idle ROM space, making switching between your favourite apps seamless.
For the photos and videos, Vivo Y21e includes a dual rear camera set-up that includes a 13-megapixel primary sensor and a 2-megapixel super macro lens. It is also supported by a wide range of features, including Personalized Portrait Mode, Super HDR. Upfront there is an 8-megapixel selfie camera that supports various camera modes like face beauty mode and more.
Besides this, the newly launched budget smartphone packs a 5,000mAh battery which supports 18W fast charging.
Vivo Y21e price in India and availability details
Vivo Y21e price in India has been set at Rs 16,990 for the 3GB RAM with 64GB storage option. But the company will be offering the phone at Rs 12,990. The device will come in two colour options of Midnight Blue and Diamond Glow. The phone can be purchased through Vivo India E-store and across all partner retail stores in the country.
