If you want typewriter font
Another way to change font style on WhatsApp is by Typing the text you want in a typewriter or monospace font within the three backticks ‘“`’
However, backticks are not available in standard iPhone/Android keyboards so there is a second method iOS users can do.
In the text area where you’re composing your message, tap it. Select the text you want in Monospace font by tapping the ‘Select’ option from the pop-up menu bar. If you’re using an iPhone, go to the [B I U] pop-up menu and choose ‘Monospace.’ Alternatively, on an Android phone, pick the ‘three-dots’ icon and then ‘Monospace’.
These were some of the ways one can easily customise or change font style on WhatsApp. You can also mix the above styles. For instance, writing in bold and italics together. The thing you need to keep in mind is the opening and closing of the text bracket and the space between the two.
